I think that 3650 looks similar to those old pulse phones with pulse dialing disk... so it's just old old "classic" Nothing similar to this Apple phone!

Yeah, both are just trying to replicate the "old" phone look.

That apple phone looks wierd to me tho!

It's round.... So? It's a new flavour of the IPod MP3 player (Have you tried it? It's really cool, and sensual actually: you just touch it and it works)
I wouldn't call this a copy -especially considering the age difference of these two. You shouldn't forget it takes a lot of time to design a phone, especially with a new shape factor. So, I would rather call that a coincidence.

i don't see a trace of similarity.... nokia came up with that stupid lay out themselves...

nokia 3650 was copied from our remote control

I haven't seen a phone with push buttons and circular layout. But I remember the old phones with dialling keys in the bottom of the phone

I don't think the circular layout on the new Nokia phones is logical at all. Everyone are used to the rectangular layout now. Think of all the devices you are using with rec. layout: ATM's, PC keyboard, calculator, fixed line phones, mobile phones, TV-,CD-, DVD-controls, etc. etc. Don't really know whom Nokia is trying to convince with their new layout. It's like forcing people to use the Dvorak layout on the PC keyboard

Nokia is always trying to be creative...and indeed they are...but not very practical. I'm sure it goes well with people trying to stick out and care more about design than practicality. Hey, I rather stick out of the crowd by wearing a Bluespoon headset. Apple needs to come out with something better than that if they want to get into the mobile phone business. Whatever happened to the partnership with Ericsson?

The words stick out and nokia dont match. If u use a nokia u automatically BLEND in with the crowd. Trust me. The 3650 will be as common as oxygen. No doubt about it. REMEMBER, Nokia and Stick Out do NOT go hand in hand.

Well maybe except 7650. Well at least in malaysia. Maybe it doesnt appeal to youth here.

sanjeevejaya> you are right! Nokia usually doesn't stick out since everybody has one. However, they care more about design than whats inside and with this latest phone I would have to say that it will stick out. I don't think it will be a success though - probably go the same way model 5510 did - in the trash!

Yup U are damn right m8 :-) . Into the trash can !!
