why oh why is not feasible for a male to like pink? why do I have to defend my actions? As much as you lot think, I don't do it to cause a reaction, I do however find it remarkable that people think they know my sexuality because I like a colour, it's sheer madness, some of you (not many) are aware of my life and why I may have been subjected to pink a lot more than your "average" kid, but those of you that know me, know I would have it no other way. I'm not the only one either, my younger bro is 18 and is currently in the process of having his bedroom painted baby pink. he thinks the same, pink is easy on the eye, it's soft, it's warm and it most certainly is not for girls only.

Was just curious, thanks for clarifying. I too don't believe in the blue is for boys and pink is for girls stereotype, hence why I'm comfortable with pink myself, be it my clothing, my keyrings or my phones. I mean yeah, to the publics rather stereotypical eyes, it's 'more' acceptable to me I guess because of my sexuality, but that shouldn't be a reason to be honest.
Sorry if you mis-read how I was saying it, was honestly just curious, thanks for clearing it up.

Fatreg, dude ease up a bit on the aggression. I am TOTALLY with you on this but you MUST admit that although its the 21st century, old habits die hard. I was brought up with the Blue for Boys, Pink/Red for girls. I think most ppl get caught up in that because they think it had to do with sexuality; I'll even wager most of our parents and grandparents did - but in actuality its because the color suited the kids more in clothing. Not all men can wear pink shirts!
Not all men can dance good and make it look cool. Fred Astaire was a champ at it (Singing In The Rain - movie anyone?)!

colin, i phoned orange yesterday to find out what data plans i can have, they offered i think 6-8meg for £7.50 a month (it may have been 10meg)... does that sound about right?

6mb for £7.05 yeah.. I then add 30mb to it for an extra £10 a month...
although there have been rumours that orange are chaning the data tariffs soon..

Right a question for ya.
I wanna use a custom wallapaper on my pearl, so i get my image resize it in PhooShop to the Pearls screen res 240x260 transfer it across and when i set it the image is all stretched, i try using the wallpaper generator on crackberry and it does exactly the same...
So how do i make nice wallpapers that fill the whole screen while not stretching em using my own photo's for my pearl

Yes it will - providing the country you are visiting offers a Blackberry Service. You might want to find out which operators are there and who offers what. My feeling is yes however it will.

Whats the cheapest BB-ONLY (no calls, no texts, just data) deal you can get in the UK right now? Best I've found is O2 at £15/month for 12 months and a BB 8120 or 8310 for £49.99 including £30 trade in.

Hey guys ... the 9000 series seems closure to coming to fruition! Also, 3G HSDPA is coming to the Blackberry soon (estimated August of 2008). I'm unsure if its going to be triband 3G or not, but the co-CEO has confirmed its coming.

I did, their £79.99 for the 8120, 8310 and I think thats it, or £49.99 for the 8100, 8300 and 8800. Ironically, their doing the 7100x for £19.99
Plus theres a £30 trade in on them all, making a Pearl 8120 a smidge under £50. Thats £230 for one year of unlimited BB data and a Pearl 8120, can't be bad
Actually, while I'm here, I have a dumb n00b BB question. I've borrowed my works Pearl 8100 until Monday (much to the distaste of my new manager lol
) and I'm trying to set it up with e-mail, but I almost literally have no idea where to start!
I've got BB e-mail set up on my O2 account now, and I can use the browser ok, but the e-mail set up wizard only gives me options to 'create or add' which tries to create a BB e-mail account, set up with BES, which I'm not, I'm BIS, or the 'skip e-mail setup', which is useful
Any suggestions or am I being thick? I really just want to use it with things like my g-mail and Hotmail.

go there, sign up for an account, type in your PIN number (found under the battery, or in status in options) tyoe in email account details et voila!

Well, I think I've hit an eternal dead end. I can't register a new account either on the device or on the web site because the PIN is already registered, and I obviously don't know the log in details. I've got the password sent to me by putting in the PIN, but it won't tell me the username, and I haven't got a clue what it would be, it's not my bleeding phone lol
Am I going to have this same problem when I get Marc's 7100x?
Is there any way of resetting the devices username/password?

have a look in options, advanced, service books, and have a look at the email addresses in there..
look for the one that ends in o2email.co.uk and that should be your username

to de-register it you have to a) either register a new device, that kicks the old one off, b) get RIM/O2 to do it (is a big big pain in the arse)
