@ZootZoot; what model is your BB on Tmobile? Is it the 8320 / 8120 - if either please check you're not using the WiFi Browser; just to be certain.

@ j0be.. you need to call o2 and ge them to add the blackberry plan to your account.. will cost you £10 a month for 1gb data...

after then www.o2mobileemail.co.uk i think and set up your bis account et voila!

Have you tried re registering the HRT

Options-Advance Options-Host Routing Table- REGISTER NOW.

I would also try seeing if you change the theme whether that will make a diference.

Either way you should have the Blackberry Browser and no matter what network you are on - you should be able to go too the Mobile BB page.

As for Burgaz - have you downloaded the Desktop Manager and put Facebook on that way?

Zoots - are your APN details correct?

I've just noticed in my network settings it say both BIS and BES are not connected? Should one be connected? I thought the BIS should of been? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Colorware will make your Curve lime green Burgaz...

http://www.colorwarepc.com/p-117-blackberry-curve.aspx

and at only $114 seems like a bargain to me.. only downside is.. they only do it in the US...which is a shame as I'd like to send mine in to make it pink....

NOW you have a problem!

YES Either BIS/BES should be connected. Were are you looking at this information? Are you looking in Options> Mobile Networks> Diagnostics > RUN?

You're email address SHOULD be listed as connected. If you're looking in this screen and its not then either you have a network issues - wrong data account/network outtage (take note, here in the USA many providers tier BB data plans as BIS or BES not a combo of the two).

I think I put a screenshot long ago in the early pages of this thread.

You need a t-mobile blackberry data plan which is £10 per month and you get 50mb of data... or its £5 a month extra if you have web n walk...

I think the black makes it look smart otherwise it will be to green....

Posted by Burgaz
I liked the sides black!

I've been shopping around for a lime green case (not a pouch). Anyone know any retailers other than Vaja that do them? I really dont like the idea of shipping my phone off to the US to be painted....

couldn't you just send them a front and back housing so they can spray that, instead of sending the phone...

Posted by fatreg
I'll be shipping mine off to them if they will do it for me

Posted by Burgaz
Hmmm... But I'll be stuck with a z610 till my curve comes back!

And i'd also like to see first hand what the finish is like on their work before i commit to mine being done!!!

Posted by fatreg
the work is awesome Burgaz..

the X2 coating is brill...

Do they paint your housing or do they give you a new housing?? so it comes back with my marks on it but in a new colour? or do they polyfilla it??

Posted by Burgaz
Hmmm... I don't know?

So does anyone know anywhere for cases? Not pouches?

Posted by fatreg
get a local tradesman on the case Burgaz..

and upholster r should be able to do it for you for peanuts.

You could try and spray it your self... follow the link...

I sprayed my Sega MegaDrive red when i was 15! Did a great job! Also did my mate SNES Black.. Don't fancy doing a BB though... Too many button hole to foul up....

Posted by zootzoot
or you could get a decal...

Posted by fatreg
I'd love to spray my BB..... just wish the pearl keypad was like the Curve one and not colour coded to the actual phone...

Posted by Burgaz
oooh look what i found!

http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/13457.htm

Not perfect but the right colour!

Posted by Marc_SE
I picked up one of those for my Curve whilst in the US last November. Had lunch with a RIM rep and he said they were difficult to get hold of in the UK?!

Also had one for my BB 8100 which basically saved it after I got drenched at Universal Studios! LOL
