calculating number of posts

just curious... have posted in a number of threads but the number of times i have done so doesn't correlate to no. of posts score next to my id. How does it work?

posts in the mobile phone free forum, garbage and the regional forums are deducted from your post count overnight

i.e. only posts in mobile related forums count
