[/quote...] No, I'll definitely wait - I've recently come to the conclusion it IS GOOD that irish networks are usually 6-8 months behind UK/rest of the world...I've been often annoyed re waiting on the hot new stuff, however, plus side:
k700i - 14 months, no bugs, no probs...
K750i - 13 months, no bugs etc...
E61 - now 6 months, PERFECT! Not one of the bugs or probs you read about... So could it be???
Could it... Or am I just lucky? Anyhow, n95 in b months...

it will have sure some bugs, imo at the camera mainly. all symbinas with the latest os had that weird zoom bug, it was fixed with an upgrade later

Bugger - even though it doesn't say pre-order only on the website, (in fact it says 'buy now'!) when I contacted them they said it was a website error and they 'didn't know when the N95 would be available, sometime in Spring.'

Came across earlier this morning and i know the seller to be trustworthy and reliable
BRAND NEW BOXED NOKIA N95, UK SELLER, GPS
You are pre-ordering a Nokia N95. delivery will commence between 12th and 20th of March. This is when the phone is due to be released. If it is released earlier it will be sent earlier.
Now i hope you are all sitting down as the price is buy it now@ £540 or best offers and he wil have 10 avaliable. All i can say to that is ouch and thank fully i prefer my N93. just a thought i suppose when the P990 launched it was nearly this price and there is no comparison spec wise even so this not an upgrade i am interested in.

Ouch, that's a heck of premium to pay for a phone that isn't even out yet!
I've been offered one for £350+VAT in April.
I think I might wait until they've been out a couple of months though.

im starting up my own website to sell phones. I now have a tustworthy supplier on board after looking for one for a while. ebay names are for me are: astateoftrance06 (phone feedback) and ads1107 (brothers but i use)
about 40 100% positive. only a few phones but i want to sell in higher volumes thats why im starting my site. I can take orders before my site is up though .......

was at train station in city yesterday, nokia had a little nseries stand set up with the latest n series phones. N95 was there but i didnt use any. And no one was at the stand the few times i walked past

@ads - Despite the numerous announcement that the N95 will be launched a couple of days from now. . . . I am still doubtful that ONLy a couple of peeps here will get HOLD of that model, considering it's very HEFTY price as said by Dogmann here
I've had a P800 then too and despite it's havin' just a VGA-camera, it can still capture NICE images, specially outdoor-shots. Perhaps . . . next time mate

The N95 is now available in Australia for about US$1000. I'm very tempted to buy the phone, but I'm not much of a Nokia lover, esp the series 60 handsets. But I'm willing to make an exception for the N95, as it has everything I'd want in a phone, and more! I'll check it out at the store tomorrow afternoon. If it impresses me, I might end up turning into a Nokia Fanboy

I think that is a little unfair, look at what this device comes equipped with and it is always going to be @ a premium especially at launch and is around the same price s the P990 was at launch even if it's not now.
My N93 was an expensive device to purchase but worth every penny for me anyway, in fact so much so i am not even the slightest bit interested in upgrading to the N95 as is not a step up IMO as i already have a Sat Nav a GPS solution and just prefer the form factor of my N93 but that's just MO and what i intend to do.

if you wanted it badley get the contract or wait till the end of the year for the handsets to come down on upgrade, they did with 02 I paid £30 for it a month earlier they wanted £129.99 for it

Hi all,
Well these are now starting to appear on E-Bay for delivery anytime from late March to early April and from £420 to £550 some of these sellers have a couple of hundred positive feed backs while some have Zero. Also in this months CPW magazine it is @£499.95 expected to be available early April. It does look there will be plenty available at launch but who knows how long before the price drops although i would imagine normal supply and demand will decide this.
