Thats great. Now you dont have to worry about your phone falling when it vibrates when someone calls or stepping on it because it's on the floor. The reason it would be on the floor is because you were afraid it would fall off the table.
Phones just aren't safe...

If my memory serves me right, I remember reading on the web few years ago about a universal charging device that looks like a sheet of thick paper where you can put your device on top of it. There is no need to plug anything since it works on magnetic/electrical field or something. Anyone knows what happen to this device or whether it is just a concept of what is possible but never build?

I have a toothbrush like that, you put it on the stand, but it has no actual connectors. but it would seem that any kind of electromagnetic/radioactive technology they are using to do that might damage the flash memory in the phone?

Hi axxxr
I know you and Masseur are big fans of inductive charging concepts and in this months Stuff mag there is the first really good looking system i have so far seen. Go to www.Wildcharge.com as i thank you will find it quite interesting and is due by the end of the Year but then i have been hearing that for the last 5years at least.

Well, reading that wildcharge product could power laptop (while working on it) then it surely safe for Memory card as memory card is far safer than magnetic harddisk. The only possible problem might be the phone signal reception. I would love to have this charger if the price is right.
