Both 'Hikari' and 'Sora' are taken from Japanese words. Each means 'light' and 'the sky' respectively. Enjoy!

My next concept(s): Beauty Renaissance 2.0
When?
Posted by WhiteEye
Sony Ericsson Hotaru. with DramaVIEW™
A premium-finished clamshell phone with DramaVIEW™ and 3.2 MP AF camera . A part of Beauty Renaissance 2.0 series.
Posted by WhiteEye
About DramaVIEW™
It's a herd of 25 "living" fireflies on the exteior surface of the handset. It's more than an animation, it's alive. Your fireflies always continuously move here and there, all the time! When the night comes, their shows just get more and more attractive. You can set them according to your mood, e. g. sad, serious, aggresive, etc (22 preset "emotions" available) then they will adjust their formation, speed and orientation of the movements.
When you get new message, or call, or any notification, the fireflies automatically will arrange themselves into a representative icon.
This is DramaVIEW™. So emotional to view. So dramatic to feel.
Available in Apocalypse Black and Borneo Orchid, Sony Ericsson Hotaru always be your timeless companion--and your best friends' jealousy as well.

@WhiteEye: You are so good! I cant believe it!!! Wish that was true!

It's an awesome idea!
Sell it too some company and make yourself a buck.
Posted by Rifqi_Aziz
@WhiteEye
Hotaru is a clamshell, right? Sorry, never impressed by any clamshell.
However, the concept of DramaView is fantastic. It'd better be applied to any candybar or slider also.
Anyway, keep the good work bro.

WhiteEye that one looks AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You should really try to contact Sony Ericsson, as your designs are very amazing!

I agree with SaliH, amongst all WhiteEye's concepts, Hikari is the best.

WhiteEye!
This DramaView is excellent! You actually almost had me fooled, and giving what we've seen with the rumored W350i outer screen - SE may JUST be knocking on your door and offering you some design $$ or even to offer a future position - just make them pay for university study's hehe. Hey one can never be too old.
The first phone design I don't care much for - too close to the hardware queues of the Nokia 6290; and I think you changed it for the better in the 2nd design.
Again EXCELLENT design that I pray goes into more fashionable SE devices. Your particular design of haptics is both masculine & feminine thus making it also neutral. Very excellent.

Sony Ericsson Konan: Beauty Renaissance 2.0
Yet another member of Beauty Renaissance 2.0 series. Bringing nothing groundbreaking, Konan is just an emotional-design phone aimed to the fashion-consious ones.
Sony Ericsson Konan. More edges. More to feel.
Posted by Alexandra
Normally I am filled with delight when I see your name next to the "Huge photoshopped SE portfolio" thread, but that just sucked.

WQVGA display. Always gives you more.
Standby Gallery™ allows you to put up to 6 images on your standby display. You can set them to be "everchanging" along the time as well. The flashy user interface simply turns your days so cheerful and more emotional. See her anytime anywhere you want by UMTS support. Media Player 3.0 gives you more experiences in enjoying your multimedia files. And NetFront™always presents PC-configured web pages on the go.
P. S. Standby Gallery™ is not a new feature here. Some Sony Ericsson's Japan-exclusive handsets can do it since few years ago.

Nice media player 3, not very nice PSP interface.

The "specs image" (like usual):

Posted by WhiteEye
This image was created by Paint and finished by Photoshop.
Konan means "little (thing) from the south", in case you are curious
[special credits to leo5354 and Sansan who have provided the translation of "Konan". Thanks to my friends Ai-kun and Maya who have given the permission to use their photos.]
@Alexandra
Thank you for your comments. As I posted before, it brings nothing groundbreaking, nothing new, nothing high spec'ed.

Whiteeye, keep up the quality concepts, if you ever want to start a petition to get a job at SE I'd sign it.
Alexandra, do you ever stop bickering. You have to slam concepts too, and their not even SE released concepts. Go put an SE logo on an N95 and give everyone else a break.

@WhiteEye
Man... clamshell again?
The latest is [bTOO[/b] Japanese.
Too tall for a clamshell, it won't be comfortable to hold.
And one more think : too girly.
Sorry WhiteEye, Hikari is still your best concept. I expected more than this "Konan" when you tell me about your latest concept posted here with Maya's photo.
BTW, "Konan" sounds masculine but the phone's too feminin. The name doesn't match the design I think.
