Well you just have to work on the details for your concepts to work.
I think your best was the K580 slider. I really do not like the look of the K550 but I would actually buy your K580 if it was a real phone.
Now with details I'm talking about 2 things: 1) clear pictures without flaws and 2) details in the design, like your sliders do not work for me because the keys are sticking out and there is no way the front can slide over them. Making the buttons flat would improve your slider concepts a lot.
And remember this is "criticism" with love :]
In no way I would want you to stop making new concepts.

I put a bigger screen on it first but then I thought it looked weird :]
Also I wanted the touch buttons at the top and at the bottom.
Also this is a dual swivel design, therefore the "the king is dead, long live the new king" thingie ;]
I tried to show it by having both sides of the swivel showing on the photos.
Like u can turn the screen facing the other way or your way.

thanks for the nice comment. yup, its resemblance to the iphone has been my problem since i started conceptualizing it. the best i could do to distinguish it is by giving it the vanishing display element and a pitchblack metallic frame.
btw, i have actually designed a slew of other models and new UIs. i call it my "2008 portfolio" but they're still in their raw form, meaning they are still drawn in mspaint. hehe. antiquated, i know.
