Why blame Cnn if it was a Post Office Problem

CNN Rocks! Fast shipping and they have parts for cheap prices

No their products aren't. I have had a run in with them.

They advertised an OEM Black S700i housing on eBay which I purchased for near enough £30 all in and when it arrived it was a cheap excuse for a housing.

The paint chipped after one week and overall the fit was rubbish. The housing didn't even have Sony Ericsson on the battery cover like the original. I was f*cking fuming.

Anyway, I complained to paypal and Paypal refunded me.

Lying b*stards - total waste of time. I wouldn't trust them if they advertise OEM products.

my experience of cnn.cn was the following:

1) order housing/lcd screen for w800i and pay via paypal
2) no confirmation email for my order recieved
3) cancel my order that night as realise phone cannot be fixed
4) hear nothing for a week despite repeated emails asking for a refund and to cancel my order
5) open paypal dispute after a week of absolutely no communication
6) 2 days later get refund, no email of apology or anything
7) move on

Hi all,
Well despite Voda_Jon recommending them to me via PM just checked out a supposed 8800 Special Edition battery cover as might be having some laser customizing done on mine. Even when looking at the pictures in Large something just doesn't look quite right and $6.50 also seems far to cheap. But i suppose i could always keep the original one for when and if i sell it and just use this one for the custom lasering.

I have used cnn.cn twice. My bottom line opinion is that it is the best and closest to OEM you can go without being OEM. If that makes any sense!

It's an ok online retailer, not great, but you get what you pay for.

I've used them for Sony Ericsson parts and they have always come on time, and as far as i am aware are OEM, either that or damn good copies....

Only downer was i bought an unbranded allure brown K800i screen lens, when it arrived all it was, was one from a T-Mobile phone with the sticker removed.... no Cybershot just a blank space.

Hi all,

Sorry but if they are saying it is OEM being nearly as good or a good copy doesn't really cut it with me, if it sates OEM then that is what it should be. Many thanks to all that have posted as this has swung my decision to give them a BIG miss.

dogmann they certainly arent "Genuine Sony ericsson" what i've ordered but they are definately very good copies form what i have ordered

@A L 3 X

Since my original post's i have seen many more complaints about cnn and the fact they describe products as OEM that aren't. Which IMO is wrong if i wanted non OEM part's that is one thing, but if some one is looking for an OEM part they are entitled to get what they believe they have paid.

Also these ae not they only complaints about cnn either which include second hand parts being sold as new or missing parts on delivery and they never respond to E-Mails either. Just IMO not the type of company i would want to do business with and i would in fact avoid if at all possible.

this site is shite. I ordered from them and followed all instructions. They charged me, but did not ship. they seemed to think this was my problem, even though they admiited they had my money after charging me. They would do nothing to make this right. Just glad it was a small order.

BEWARE !! Scammers

techgeek911,
couldn't you ask them to refund it?
