Funny luks... with lots of eccentricity...

I honestly think imate has done very well with these designs, this may bring imate in line with mainstream manufacturers and WM handsets to the masses.

Any pics of the device in hand? pics look good above.

I wonder on the quality of them now that HTC has broken away from supplying most of imates products.

i like the first one.. looks pretty cool too..

Excellent hardware specs and pretty machines, but the Windows platform is gonna make each device a letdown.
I still cant forget how excited I was when I got the Imate Jasjar initially, but the inefficiency of Windows Mobile 5 ended up making it a complete pain to use.

I-mate announced that their first Ultimate device will launch in September 2007.

does anyone know how the imate ultimate 7150 compare with the htc tytn II?
DIFFERENCES, etc?
Posted by AbuBasim
HTC TyTN II: sliding QWERTY keyboard which re-orientates the screen to landscape, QVGA screen, GPS.
i-mate Ultimate 7150: clamshell QWERTY keyboard (i.e. like Nokia E90) and VGA screen but no GPS.
I would probably buy the 7150, if it weren't for i-mate's almost non-existent software support.
Did anyone here buy i-mate's JASJAM? Upset that i-mate is not planning to release a WM6 upgrade for it?

The 8150 is very nice looking and only 11mm thick. A real contender for my next phone, but that will depend when it actually becomes available, and for how much.

I read a little while back that 7150 and 9150 were cancelled
