I got my new Ericsson T68m 2 days ago and all I want to do is play with it, but due to me working I don't have the chance so I am going to have a really good look on friday (my day off)
Now I got a laptop with infrared on it and it finds my Ericsson T68m no problem.
Now to my question.
I want to send screensavers to my phone via infrared but I can't seem to find the software that will send the .gif's to my phone.
Does anyone know of a guide that can help my in sending screensavers to my phone via infrared.
Thanks

You can download this SW:
http://www.christersson.org/software_sendfile.asp
But I usually just right click on the file I want to send and (after already establishing an IR connection between the PC and Phone) send to IR recipient.
Hope that helps.

Wait a minute, the T68m can't accept screensavers.
And they can only store one background image at a time on top of the 10 pre-installed ones.

OK I got my invoice today and it says Ericsson T68m Flashed.
Does that mean it's flashed to the T68i cus if I go into screensavers on the phone they work

If you do this key-combination:
> * << * < *
you'll gain access to a service menu. In there somewhere, you can check what firmware version you've got.
I think the first T68i version is R2E.
The newest firmware version is R5D.

RD5A020 doesn't look like a normal SW version code (usually a letter followed by a number followed by a letter), but if your screensavers work, then you must have a T68m upgraded to a T68i, cool!
