Sold a phone on ebay, guy pays me through paypal.
I log into paypal and the money shows into my account which is fine.
Now question is, should this money be into my bank account? How can i withdraw the amount arrived?

Just registered on ebay! sorry if it sounds weird.

yeah, thats my experience, and you pay 25p fee if you are transferring less than £50

Thanks guys, paypal seem to charge a lot of money on a sale!!

Next time i better advertise that the buyer pays paypal fees.

Nice one, i've just done that.

Now, is it ok for me to send the items out? or do i need to wait till it's transferred into my bank?

thanks

hey, PK, be care sending to non-verified address... they can do a charge back anytime for weeks.... ive never experienced this, but others have

i experienced it

they can do a chargeback whether then money is in your paypal account or your bank account though, so you may aswell send the item right now. next time though you could insist that you only ship to a confirmed address.

Cheers for the advice folks.

also, you mentioned that from now on you will state in your auctions that buyers are to add extra to cover the paypal fees, you are not allowed to do this anymore, if ebay notice you put it in your auction description they will remove the auction

Thats not good news, but why and since when!

must be for a year or more now that they stated that

Better off increasing postage price i guess!
