Hi!

We are working on a project for the Norwegian computer party "The Gathering", and we hope you can help us.

The projects name is "World calling" and is basically video clips of people around the world saying hello to "The Gathering". We want you to be among those people!

What we want is bascially people from all around the globe greeting "The Gathering", preferably in front of some kind of landmark that identifies the country - but not necessarily. You can appear as one person or as a group of people. Feel free to make whatever you want out of this.

Although you're quite free to do whatever you want, we have some requirements:
- The video must be of a fairly good quality. Little or no compression is preferred (think full-resolution PAL or NTSC, which you can record with any consumer DV-camera, and is available through any decent video editor like iMovie, Windows Movie Maker or better).
- The greeting itself can not last longer than 30 seconds.
- Feel free to add another 40 seconds of extra footage from your country and the place the greeting is from.
- You can make your greeting in either english or your native launguage. In both cases we would like a text transcript of the greeting in english.
- The video must not include any music or sounds other than the original sound from your greeting (due to licensing issues).

We will need to have the video before March 15th 2007. The final file will be transferred over the Internet to our FTP-server, to which you will be given exclusive access. Please contact us on tgtv@gathering.org as soon as possible if you are interested.

This is your chance to show yourself off in front of over five thousand Norwegians!

Greetings from,
Event: Vision
