Does anybody know if T68i's banner can be changed?? Right now mine just says "ROGERS AT&T" can that be changed at all??

i also have a question regarding that banner thing? what does that really mean... ive tried looking for a t68i at greenhills i saw one but when i opened it it displayed something else rather than the sony ericcson logo animating? and also evrytime i shut it off it displays the same graphic, does this mean that the unit is bogus? pls advise

That doesnt mean is dodgy, the t68i i had displayed orange, it just depend whats been programmed into your phone.

So what you're saying is that the startup animation an shutdown animation CAN be changed???

--well the first store displayed o2 then theres this other store that displayed super style... not only that it looks bad(i mean i prefer the sony ericsson logo ofcourse) but its weird man. and not only that the thing that made me really curious was the box... they had the old box the one for the t68 but the content was a t68i... so do u think its a wise buy..? i mean should anyone consider buying a t68i with a different banner? thanks

hey btw guys i know this is sort of out of the topic but... do u guys know what "mobile invalid" my phone displayed that message twice already... and once displayed i cant send sms or make a call... i need to turn off my phone and turn it back on to make it ok

You can't change the 'banner' on the start up that say eg. 'Welcome to Orange' as this is programmed in from your server provider. However you CAN change the animated gif file that appears on boot up. You just go to 'settings', 'display', 'user greeting' and change from standard to 'My greeting' and select a screensaver or picture to display instead.
I don't know why they don't let you change the shut down screensaver though.

@kikonameko- man ur t68i might be really bogus and just made up of chop chop parts and it might even be just assembled locally... u should have bought at an authorized se dealer........hehehe

well i am on orange and when i try to change the 'user greeting' all i get is a static image not a animated image even though i select an animated gif
