Carphonewarehouse minimum contract now Ł30 / month

I went into CPW yesterday to get "something" on a cheap contract but was informed that their minimum contract is now Ł30/month making the cheapest phone from them a minimum Ł360 on a 12 month contract

what are they thinking of? I know I won't be getting any more phones from them, at least not on contract anyway

So they won't sell an O2 contract for Ł20 p/m? Thats pathetic.

even before this they didn't do os Ł20 contract. their minimum for o2 was Ł25

I purchased a contract on O2 for Ł20 on a 12 month contract around 12 months back which was a good deal.

Will just go to O2 direct from now on.

don't know about 12 months ago. the last o2 I got from CPW was when the K800 came out and definitly Ł25 was the min then.

In december I also looked at another phone there and it was still Ł25 so I was very surprised to get this news yesterday.

I made it clear to them what I thought of their new pricing!

Sounds like they'll be losing lots more customers as Ł30 pm minimum is just wrong. Over Ł300 a year, no way.
