Hi all, it just occured to me that since all files in Windows can be renamed to .txt extension, wich reveals "data", I though DRM could be managed this way too, so I tried, and yes, effectively, in the first paragraph of Symbols there is some imformation were DRM is a notorious word. So do you think that by deleting some of this text, we could free our mp3 of DRM?
I tried deleting some paragraphs but I don't know wich parts, so I ended up with a useless mp3 file when I renamed the extension back. Luckily I had copy of it.

you could always burn them to a blank cd, then use CDEx to rip them in high quality to prevent serious loss. thats what i do on the rare occasion i buy something with DRM
there used to be an awesome site that gave you high quality mp3s with no DRM for the same price as low quality wmas with DRM on other sites, but its gone down now

or dowload Audacity and play the DRM file while recording it. gives you a nice non DRM mp3

yeah the thing is I copied this files from an audio CD, and Windows media player gave me that option. As I was so young, careless and didn't know what was DRM
Just thought that would be a method. I'll try again one day and perhaps find out that it's possible
