it might be easlier to prove its a fake with a link to the original image but, for surely you don't believe its real?
anyway, for comparison, here is an image of the moon which is not too far off in orientation from that pic
I guess if we could find the exact image that has been manipulated that would also be conclusive proof, but common sense from the number of similar features shown there tells me that its a photo well positioned over an image of the moon with a certain amount of transparancy to show features from both

You may also remember the Martian face on Mars over which there was a huge conspiracy for many years although we now know it was simply shadows on the hill.
