hi i have bought a 6230i that was originally on o2. i have had the wap settings for orange uk sent to my phone but when i try and use a java app that connects to the internet it does not connect please can anyone help me please. please reply to badboyzukltd@o2.co.uk this app worked fine on my old 6230 with orange etc so it must be some setting in this phone thanks mark

Please don't crucify me if I am wrong as I haven’t used that phone in a bit but usually in s40 you should check your: Menu/ Settings/ Configuration/ Default Configuration setting or Preferred access point. Hope this helps.

indeed, u have to set the right settings at applications. its the same llike in se fones, just on a diffrent way a bit. also at the application there is the application access menu point, where u have to make some settings.
