MoGo Dapter Is this finger nail sized Bluetooth adapter for the PC the smallest in the world? Possibly. Anyhow, it will be available in Q2 for around $49.99.

Cool! That's what I need.
My kids broke the last BT dongle I had.
Is it A2DP compatible?

Mine is about 3.5 cm long, and only a couple of mm thick, it slides into the usb port, but doesn't have the proper connector. its available in nz, on queen st, @carkitter. being on mobile i cant post a pic, but i will once i get back on a pc if yah want

@dumbrella, I think I know which one you're referring to, I've seen those before, and would have gotten one if not cos my notebook has built-in bluetooth. Does it look like this:

cool
what about the range
Posted by Chrispy
@deluded, yeah thats practically the same, but mine is made by a weird brand, "CCK : carefreeness makes charming king" LOL

Heh... whatever that means. But yeah, it's really slim. Looks pretty fragile though. The one in the first post looks good too, but would it be hard to remove from the USB port since there's not much to hold on to. Haven't seem any of those around here yet though. But they're pretty handy if you're looking for something unobtrusive.

Will it support Widcomm?

I think it is MoGo that make a bluetooth mouse that slots into and charges from a pcmcia slot. Great idea for laptop users.

my vaio's have BT built in but I guess using the PCMCIA slot for BT is an option as there is little else use for it these days

i saw this post from my k750 and it didnt look that little, now im in a computer it looks damn little. my bt dongle is as big as my usb pen drive. i was not complaining about its size, but now i see this, it makes me
note: my bluetooth dongle is Bluetooth branded. weird

hi huys just wanted to know....how did axxxr use a car as his logo instead of the usual hp???

That dongle is brilliant. I don't think there is any need to worry about geting that out. If I had one I would plug it into an internal USB slot on my computer as I have 2 not in use.

@raverockz: the Big Guys from ESATO have their own avatar. donno why they dont give us the chance to have ours too
DONT GO OFF-TOPIC

How many do you have then! I dont have any spare ahhhh

I guess the advantage of this small dongle is that you wouldn't have to remove it from the laptop. That's what the makers intended.
It's for convenience if your laptop doesn't have bluetooth.
Posted by carkitter
It would suit me just fine.
My laptop has 3 USB ports and dont use them all at once.
I'd rather keep the PCMCIA slot available for a VMC UMTS card.
@dumbrella
I had a Dick Smith Electronics dongle. Worked great, but it was too long and fragile.

I had 3 to begin with but I placed my broadband modem inside my computer and drilled a hole in the side of the case for power (I have an ATX case, quite large). That's taking up one port so I have 2 remaining.
