In case that it's something wrong with FS, should I use SEUS to make fresh firmware flash and then make another trying to mod with XS++?

SEUS doesnt flash your FS, it only flashes a new main

its pretty simple,

1) first search for the W810 main and FS in 4shared.com, make sure they match (like the version R4EA.... must match with the FS version), and make sure that the main is a .mbn file, and the FS is a .fbn file, sometimes they are .bin files, which i havent ever used, and dont know if they work.

2)backup ur stuff from ur fone, make sure ur battery is full.

3) connect fone to XS++, select the flash function, choose the .mbn file as main, and .fbn file as FS

4) if u dont know how to use FAR+SEFP then select a matching customization to the MAIN and FS files.

5) then click flash, the MAIN should be like 346 blocks, around 2~4mins, FS should be 146 i think, around a min, but customizing requires brute forcing, which would take a while, unless u use FAR+SEFP, which u need to learn about, coz it can be dangerous if u dont know wat u are doing

PLEASE, tell me will I lose flash menus if I flash FS and Main with R4EA031? And should I finalizing phone (is this customization?) and what can i do that? THANK YOU ALL! I'm very nerveus because I'm strating to make it...

If battery drop out or power turns off while bruteforcing customize, can I repeat after recharging battery or have to go to the service?

u can recharge and start again, just that you wouldnt be able to recharge your battery through your fone anymore, and dont try it coz it can fry the PCB, so u might have to recharge it through another fone or sumthing

yeah mate, i meant if it hasnt been succesfful (if the firmware flash wasnt successful) then u would have problems recharging ur battery through ur fone as the fone will be dead

Firstly please dont post your entire log, and secondly if you read around in the topic this question has been asked many times, its is completley normal, the XS++ program would take few hours to unlock the loader, because the process of bruteforcing is quite random the program would keep ptrying to break into the Files system (FS) to upload the files, If it gets stuck after the sending production loader bit, then simply try again, If you dont like waiting, use the FAR+SEFP method, google for FAR SEFP W810 and you might find a few guides regarding the Far manager method.

Helo Mobilemodman! I jus read ur tutorial and decided to try the camera patch on my brothers w700i. So i downloaded all required stuff and tried it with a dcu-65 cable with 4 pins which they gave when the w700i phone was bought. There is a image below, can u all tell me what was wrong?

The w700 doesn not have autofocus, so u cant use the cam driver from the other fones for it, revert back to the old, original w700 camera driver and ur problem should be fixed

First of all...thank you for all the great information!! I got it to work after sometime but i got this message at the end and missed it!! for some reason i can't copy the info from xs++ but it basically says,

thats what it showed when i got back...i tested the phone out and it seems that the drivers uploaded. i used kriomag and pimped out acoustic..should i do it over again? not sure if it is missing something. phone works fine though. any info would be great. one more question please....when you change the flash menus does it really do anything other then change the way that the menus look?

@ dafoox, maybe try an older version of XS++, as i havent used the new version and it might have some errors in it.

@mamatetis really sorry mate but i have lost the link for the w810 drivers, the best thing to do is try to google it, or search on se-nse.net because im pretty sure it was on that site. BTW, u should try an older version of XS++ aswell to see if it makes a diffrernce, however i think urs is driver related. maybe try using it on a different computer

yeah mate, im pretty sure they are the same as the PC suite one, have u installed the drivers and everything properly without using XS++, like for file transfer and things like that?

right, you've flashed the fake firmware that someone put up to try to trick the software or something like that anyway - i run R4DB005 and i'll post a link to the firmware. Theres a american version + a main version, i'll put both up but you need to flash the corresponding one to where you live or it'll balls ur phone up even more - (you'll need a .rar program - i use winrar to manage mine. Yes i have 1GB mem stick + simcard out while attemting to upload files. Just wanna know, will mine work??? I've got a t-mobile w810i which is branded by t-mobile (certain game cannot be deleted - Johnny Crash Does Texas) says it's locked. Is there any free way to debrand phone or have i already done it by flashing firmware???

Hi I'm really new to this and was just wondering if it is necessary to de-brand my w810i. I currently have Rogers as my provider. For the guide of adding the flash menus i ran into problems during the end with using a .thm for the phone to use my menu of choice. If you could get back to me that would be great cause I've been at this for to many hours now.

when flashing with xss you need to backup gdfs else u will loose it, writing other phone gdfs do not work since the imei doees not match.

my phone crash 2 its blocking always on gdfs with XS++ and i dont know wath to do i conect (usb flash only) the phone but not startup the phone i thinks i had a backup but it dsnt work of it is overwirit can sombody help my please
