But the P990 was more of a disappointing phone than a 'bad' one. By the time it was released, its features had been outdated in a way. I would have voted that as some of SE's 'worse' phones for the year.

The best for me is the M600.
I know many will vote for the K800.
But to me,M600 is the start for a new Operating system and it is very stable for me. Rarely do I get this crashes. And after the release of SMP and Tweak peaks,it's been great. It's very fast and everything else is great. That is my opinion though.
The worst for me might be the W700.
I don't know what to say about this. But I don't think
should release this phone with another name. And it didn't even have autofocus. They should've just let the name be W800,with auto focus but with another colour.

I think overall the best SonyEricsson phone is K800i though with such advances in technology these days i still wish SonyEricsson would sort out the joystick problem and that slow menu response thats plagued their phones since the Ericsson days. I hate it and have to admit i prefer using my Nokia 6233 its fast reliable well built has all the features i could need and has a great screen and amazing video recording plus fast texting which i love and superb call quality. Everything you need to make the perfect phone though i know this is not a Nokia vote. Worst phone i say is K310. Awful.

After all the votes have been counted it would seem the K800i is a runaway success. Lets hope we see more phones like this from SE in 2007 as it seems that camera phones are still very much crowd-pullers.

Well what can we say about the P990i.
It would seem that the long time people waited from announcement to release (initially 3 months was quoted), frustrated people and anticipation had built up so much that by the time it was actually released - with a lot of people having to wait longer for the stability issues to be sorted out - it hadn't endeared itself to many people.
But does it deserve the title "Worst phone of the year"?

Best - K800, great imaging qualities and all the latest additions needed for a phone of this price and position in the market.
Worst - P990, started off too highly priced and quickly decreased in value, poor stability, too big, not enough good, cheap apps available.

opinion: it seems that SE's new strategy is just a useless marketing stuff. the older ones cannt be surpassed by the new IMHO. but if SE would change it's perspectives then it will be different.
if only SE listens... remove those worst phones and have a big change
