I've read about Displex in the forums before but I cant find out what it is. All I know is that it fixes scratches on phone screens. Can anyone help???

A white paste that comes in small toothpaste like tubes. Quite cheap although a new lens is better.

How you haven't found anything is beyond me!

http://www.google.co.uk/searc[....]eta=cr%3DcountryUK%7CcountryGB

That search produces the following results:

Buy 2 as the tubes are quite small.

Don't bother! Just use plain toothpaste, works just as well.

@arien617

It takes a lot of elbow grease and patience to use Displex and alhough you will remove the scratches there will still be slight imperfections after you have finished.

Do a search on eBay for "w810i screen lens" and save yourself the bother by buying a nice clean new one. They're really cheap and easy to replace.

I replaced the lens on my W900i and the difference was immense.

i actually thought it was quite good. used displex when i had an ipod nano several times to get rid of the never ending scratches. i'd buy it again tbh.

Hey it worked for you that is good.

Works well for minor scratches but makes screen very reflective. Won't work on all lenses i.e. DO NOT try it on a k700 style lens
I made that mistake some time ago

Does real toothpaste work lol sounds far out but someone mentioned it.

Copper or silver metal polish should also work fine.
I use it to repair slightly scratched CD's and DVD's.

TOOTHPASTE DOES NOTHING EXCEPT SMELL MINTY FRESH

i tried it lol

Well, toothpaste has done it for me - more than once! :-)

Toothpaste does not work how could it, it designed to clean not repair scratches. It does make screens shiny but nothing else. you need to prove it works wich i doubt you can.

And I doubt you can prove it doesn't work!

I some types of toothpast, there is a little bit of polishing-stuff (whatever it's called), and that does the trick.

...I don't care if you don't believe me, it has always worked for me...that's it!

I would imagine toothpaste could work if its of the polishing kind as it will contain tiny grains mixed in a paste and cause abrasion to polish out the scratch in much the same was as T-cut on car paint.
I would use any abrasive substance with extreme care as it too easy to end up with a far more badly scored screen.
