Wi-Fi is quick and the pages look sharp especially Google
I like the Silver Slide keypad the most about this phone it does look stunning
So far ive not experienced any bugs nor has it froze up,
UI Is quicker then the N80.. the phones more of a email phone,
it has some GPS application on it but i cannot test this as iv not got the attachment for this feature.
Boba ive never used that yet lol
im still trying to memorize certain codes for Vodafone Voicemail, CS blah blah

Any NEWS for Nokia E90's successor
Posted by BobaFett
yeah, that touch screen fone next year, forgot the name of it. but atm the ne series fones are on
Posted by GUCCI.011
Is the Touchscreen going to be an N or Eseries? Or maybe a new name? OR maybe there will be Nseries and Eseries Touchscreens?
Posted by BobaFett
guess n series. its more for multimedia then business.
Posted by GUCCI.011
Oh yes thats true, keep forgeting that its more of an i-Phone killer. But something needs to be done to the Eseries to rival the HTC Touch, Touch Dual and that powerful Touch Cruise im sure Nokia will release a Eseries touchscreen to rival the HTC Touch Cruise.

wanna see e61i successor.E51 looks nice, but those tiny keys...

Thats a phone looks more like a game thing
Posted by BobaFett
off topic, but 6708 is a touchscreen too
@miss any new interesting facts of e65? did u installed maps?
Posted by GUCCI.011
The phone is the 7710 right?
6708 even has Symbian UIQ2.1 doesn't look like a great phone though.
@ Miss UK
Was that with average use? Lol N80 would never last that long
Posted by Dicky Snapples
yeah its the 7710. i had one for a while, but got rid of it pretty quickly as it was pretty slow, would randomly crash and was a pain in the arse to text with
Posted by BobaFett
not sure if i can imagine any e series fone as touchscreen. maybe a kind of e61 or e61i form, cos of the huge display.
Posted by Miss UK
Boba, I don't know about facts but i'll say this. The E65 isn't no Kids phone it doesn't have any games, it's got alot and I say alot of email apps
ive not downloaded the G.Maps yet i'll do it though
Gucci, My N80 doen't do so well with calls but this E65 seems to handle them alot longer, the batterys got more power
Posted by *Jojo*
If the P-series is to
's TOP-of-the-LINE fone . . . does that mean that . . . Nokia's E-series is to be considered their BEST Posted by BobaFett
e is for the biz, n more for fun and multimedia. well, imo the mix of both would offer a real high end fone, but to be honest, i like the way it is.
Posted by Miss UK
Bobas right,
E "Series" are for serious Buisness users
(I am not one even though ive got the darm phone)
btw I had my first flake up lastnight with the E65 it completey froze on me after I installed Weather UK, I installed Nokia Maps no probs but that programs crap!
can the E65 be updated?
ive looked at the SW and it's nearley a yr since it had a Update
This phone is nice but I do prefer my N80 as that has more things on it that appeal to me, I don't know how im gunna get on having it for 18 months im just glad the N80 is in my pocession too
E65 has no games what-so-ever..
has tons of email apps..
if you are a tough buisness type then this handset is for you..
Posted by GUCCI.011
I think we can say the Nseries is the best in the fact that Nseries phones always have the newest and innovitive features hence them being so buggy sometimes, and Eseries is kind of always a step behind but are built very well and it looks as if Nokia try realy hard to perfect the Eseries because you never hear as much complaints for Eseries as you would hear for Nseries. Eseries are built with mainly Business people in mind who don't realy need all the fancy features like 5mp cam, Accelerometer, N-Gage, Music player with Album Art and Visualisations etc etc. . .i guess. But i realy would love to own an E90

@*Jojo*
I think you mean that Nokia only have 2 types of smart phones one which is business focused the E Series and one that is Multimedia focused which is the N series. The N series gets all the latest available technology first and pushes the boundaries of what our devices can do.
For instance the N93 was the first Symbian smart phone to get the OMAP 2420 chip which enabled VGA video recording @30fps and a 3x optical Zoom. This chip has since been used in the N93i, N95, E90 and now the N95 8GB and N82. This chip is still the fastest and most advanced to date used in any Symbian smart phone.
We have also now seen Demand paging appear in both the N95 8GB and the N82 something that wasn't expected until we saw Symbian 9.3 or 9.5 yet is now in 9.2 so again Nokia is pushing the boundaries and introducing the latest tech and improvements to it's users. Even the original N95 is rumoured to be getting it and will improve it's free Ram just 20mb to 30mb plus of course the increased speed and battery life that comes with using Demand Paging.

darm I want that pink one
Posted by BobaFett
well, not sure this slider really fit the e series missin... on some way i can imagine a biz fone as a block fone, like e90 or e61 ( blackberry way )...
Posted by Miss UK
it's really a little phone for Girls Boba you said it yourself the keys are small, its easy to use, it's hard to get themes for and and I still can't find version of Virtual Radio free of charge for it
Posted by *Jojo*
@boba/gucci/dogmann - OK, thanks for your INPUTS pals . . . but how does the N95 differ from the E-90 . . . both are Nokia's Top-of-the-Line fones . . .
@miss uk - You got yourself an N-65 now
Posted by Miss UK
I have both JoJo.
E65 was free with new contract
Posted by *Jojo*
@miss uk - Ohhhhhhhh . . . congrats then dear ! They say that the E65 was the successor of the E50
will have that feature too - SOON !
Posted by Dogmann
@*Jojo*
Well besides having the big internal screen and a full qwerty keyboard it has more standby plug ins and customise options for the home screen plus more Buisness apps installed and is just more business orientated.

if you go to your messages, highlight the message you want to listen to,click options, one of the options should be message reader or something like that.
And in the phones settings you can change the voice

@miss uk - Ohhhhhhh . .. that's strange
For all I know of . . . these TWO VOICE-features are ONLY available with Nokia's E-series fones.

Anyone know where the Infrared port is on the E65 ive tried pointing in all directions to send a picture to my laptop
Posted by BobaFett
didnt use infra since ages, isnt it on the side? why dont u use the cable?
Posted by bickit
lm back! i assume the touch screen will come out as an N-series first then they will release an E-series touch screen....which would be so much better! they should also make a hard drive enabled E-series....if the N95gb was made why not E90 with 4gb or 8.....or maybe 1gb internal memory......i do hope that is in the labs...
Posted by Miss UK
It's not on the side Bobafett,
Nokias hiden it or it's either the black blob on the front where you'd normally find your 3G 2nd camera
My laptops very old it has infrared on it still very handy for transferring piccys to and frow

@bickit
Glad your back, but the N95 8GB is flash memory not a hard drive!
