They was an update of the game that was released a few games back, you know the sort when you first turn it on and xbox live downloads the update, was reading on Atari forums its really screwed people up as its changed the handling, i cant really tell much differance, it just makes more tail happy cars more controllable, bit more grip too, also easier to control cars with driver aids all off

It's finally happened.... My xbox just crashed while downloading the TDU update!? Now it won't let me on TDU online and for some reason my gamer score went from 1720 to 1695???

go on to the map and they are all the orange circular things. You can also filter out just the multiplayer races when you are on the map so only they display. Did you get a live subscription then?
EDIT: just re-read, are you just talking about races in general..like single player races? You just have to go to the map and you can set your GPS to mark whichever one you want to do. If youve driven the road before you can just teleport to the race

When I say bricked I mean is the memory corrupt because it had to be restarted while data was being written to the HDD.

I have mixed feelings on Hardcore Mode.....
In some ways i can see how it has made it more realistic in that you can actual feel the weight of the car shifting and you just "feel more" but other that i dont like it..... You have to slow down so much to take a corner or try and kick the back end out with the handbrake or you will just go off road, also going other humps sends you flying, i have flipped my car at least 5 times already! Nver did it once before
The car pack on the other hand is excellent, the Mercedes CLK GTR could of been faster i suppose and its a bit of a brute to get off the line but it sounds pretty sweet and looks awesome in black..... Pricey at 980,000 though and stage 3 tuning costs 300,000
The F40 is amazing, looks fantastic, handles fantastic (when not in HCM) and sounds bloody brilliant, a great B car, just a shame you cant tune it
, a bargain at 400,000 though......
RUF Rturbo, frigging fast, can hit 230 + without drafting !!!!!
The others are pretty mediocre tbh, the crossfire is slow, the caddy cts-v mediocre and the corvette ok if you like that sorta thing oh and the Audi S6, better than expected i would say
All in all the car pack was worth the wait i would say but the HCM i dunno..... will have to give it a bit more time i suppose.
I say roll on Forza 2 for realism though

Sorted it now. I dont know why it happened, it wouldn't even download the update so it was all ok when it crashed... I downloaded the car pack fine tho and then the update no problem. All sorted now but my net connection seems very laggy at the mo, couldn't join any races online...
Oh and i got my original gamer score back? Was all a bit weird that!?

Just did the millionares challenge in 52.00.28. It should really be called the million crashes challenge tho, my ninja took a hammering lol and I got busted twice....

Just dl hardcore mode and gave it a try, well...might as well forget driving the A class cars, my Enzo just wouldnt turn at all. I did a few test runs around the circuit and was kinda getting the hang of it and then not again lol. However, i changed in to the Noble and it seemed a million times better than the Enzo (not sure why i used the Enzo first off - just shows how long i havent played the game in
) I think HCM is an ok addtion, although my first thoughts were 'is this gonna take the fun outta the game?', but too tired now ... will give it a proper go another time.
I see ChiefArien is a member of the club now (only just got the ingame msg) Must've been almost a month since i put TDU on lol. We'll all have to hook up for a race soon guys, in the club or on the track or somet

I brought my xbox to work tonight as I knew it was gonna be quiet. I've now done all races and all time trials. But I've only got a silver on the taratula thingy. Gonna give it another try when I get home. Finally got 50 cars too lol

Good going. The only ones ive got left are the boring model/hitchhiker missions. They shouldve put less of those in and more races imo. Tantalus can be a royal pain Burgaz, i managed it after a couple of attempts...did it in the Enzo. Just take it easy n you'll do it

Ryan... I did it! Only took a couple of attempts and i did it in 7.08 including penalties in the enzo. I've still got a shed load of the courier missions left now tho too!
Freg... I'd get fired if my boss found out lol, but it's only a skeleton shift on nights at the mo so it's only a Tech(me), an operator and the security guard on nights. All three of us were sat in my office play Dead Rising a 3 o'clock this morning!
Played a bit of Test Drive and PGR too!

I've done a fair bit in the last couple of nights! 70% of roads driven on but i've still got about 60 challenges left to do...
Just so everyone knows i only have this weekend left on Xbox Live and then i'll be gone for a few months or maybe more! I'll still be on Esato but only for a week or two then i'm moving house so i'll be a lil quiet for a while!
