What do people think of these TV's?
My mum wants to buy 1 for my sister but is not sure how reputable they are.

Meh, well i suppose it aint awesome but its a lot better than first thought, if you like proper street racing this is perfect, just crusing on the Tokyo highways flashing ya headlights at your chosen opponants and race, bit more complicated than that is you essentially have to defeat differant gangs with having to race each member, then the boss. Differant gangs come out at differant times too, daybreak, evening or midinght....
The tuning aspect on it is where the game shines, better than NFS in this way, graphics are not to shabby either the details on the cars are very good, just the backdrop which lacks detail but still decent.

Yeah i turned really crap the other day on TDU, i mean, ive never been amazing amazing, but used to be able to keep up near the front and win the odd couple. Dunno what it is lol.
Its a bummer you cant get on in the eve's, it the only time i get on in the week If i get on at all.
I was well annoyed the other day, had that TDU faceplate on my watchlist, it ended about 10pm on the sunday i think, and missed it!! Well p*ssed off it went for £7
I broke the spring on the USB cover on the front of mine the other day as well. Need a new one

Got Crackdown yesterday.
Its a great game, but the gangs are well to easy even on the harder difficulties.
Also got Call of Duty 2 and Oblivion Yesterday, but i traded Oblivion in for Crackdown because its sh*te.
Feel ripped off at my local game shop. They only gave me £14 for saints row and £14 for oblivion so i still had to pay £17 just to get Crackdown.
It is worth it though. I hope scotts gonna do some co-op when he gets it today, because co-op is the best ever on this Genre of Game

i didnt get it in the end, blockbuster is like 30sec walk from my flat, £37.99 in there as well. Toying with the idea of getting a Gamecube atm, just for the fun of it... just want to play the marios + mario kart, Zelda and also Resident Evil 4. Generally i just want it for like party play when people come over. Hard to find any good bundles on ebay tho, most people sell the bundles and games like zelda and RE4 seperately
Missed out on a TDU faceplate last night, was watching it down to the wire and some bugger snuck in and we were in a bidding war the last 30 secs. I lost out tho

Yeah ebay is a bugger at the moment for gamecubes...i think alot of people are after them for the same reasons. You wont find a bundle with Ressi on there... you'll have to buy that seperately and itll cost ya..around £25-£30. I missed out on a couple of good deals last night i wish i had gone for. damn hesitation

If you buy the core, you wont be able to save without a memory card. You dont need one with the premium version as it uses the hdd

Yeah, plus you get some achievement points but it would take absoulutely ages, theres little bits of road dotted all over i aint done would take ages warping backwards and forwards doing it.....

Ya i was thinking of getting one too, they are only like £130 and for a HD DVD player that is really good. The only things is I'm not sure how much use it would be to me now.
