LOL, why? because there are obviously dumb americans thats why. There aint no trick cheat or whatever, you just go to the online trade bit, choose all cars sort cheapest to highest and be lucky. Often enough among those 20k saturn skys theres a bargain to be had.

Well i still haven't been able to get online properly since Xmas eve! Tis doing my head in! Got problems with the line now and the phone aint working either! There's an engineer coming out on thursday so hopefully i'll be on live by the weekend! yay!

just recently got test drive for xmas, been wanting it for ages. Only driven a total of 900 miles, so ive not really thrashed the game yet. However, ive just unlocked the bike showrooms and oohh the bikes are good! Interesting post about the secret bits - will have to check that out. So what are other peoples stats on the game, % complete, no. of cars/houses, member of a club?

Urm i've done 38% of the game so far, done two of the hardest races, the tour of the island race which is a race round the island about 118 miles long and the millionaires challenge which is a time trail around the island, have to do 125 miles in under 60 mins, i did it first time today in 52
Urm i have the grand total of 3 houses have just over 1.5million in cash, not sure how many miles i have done but its over 1000, am a member of a club called alex-racing and own the following cars and bikes....

Wow you have loads of nice cars. My collection is slowly getting there. Bought a Murchelago (spelling?) yesterday, thats pretty nice. And a kawasaki ninja + MV augusta. Still getting used to the bikes.
Yeah i saw the tour of the island race, but i thought id leave that for another day lol. Will do it at some point tho. I cant see the millionnaires race on my map yet, my mate says its on the south-east point of the map??

millionaires challenge is on the east side of the island, its actually pretty easy, i used my stage 3 agusta. Tour of the island is extremely easy when using a bike too.

just return viva pinata and got me a copy of test drive (played the demo which i liked a lot)
here a small review of viva pinata.
It's a nice game, although it's quite childish is has a extended game play.
I think it's best description is a mix of pokemon/sims/creatures
It's very easy to get into, you're the owner of a garden. which you'll have to grow life in (trees/flowers/food/animals etc.)
To attract certain creatures you're garden had to forfill it's needs.
like a bird needs to eat two worms, to have two worm you'll need some mud. the bird eat's two worms and becomes a resident of your garden.
i played the game for 2/3 days quite a lot, but i find it quite repeative after a while. eventualy i got a 4 headed snake. the snake liked all creatures for dinner. at a moment i lost my attention, the snake eat nearly my entire garden. if you like pokemon/sims/creatures like games you proble like viva pinata. the game has many way to do the job, but eventualy i desided i needed more action. cause the interaction with the creatures in your garden is quite minimal.

@p900 lover, yeah himlims nl is correct. 480 is SD (standard def) 720p (High Def) 1080i (interlaced) will scan every other line and 1080p (progressive) will scan every line giving the most superior image quality. Although there are tele's that support 1080p, there isnt many inputs yet that display 1080p. I found a quick guide whilst googling which displays a nice little table HERE (although note that i think i read somewhere that PS3 has had problems displaying 1080p)

@Scott, well ive been using a Lamborghini Gallardo C class for most of the missions so far. My cars are:
Jag E-Type (G class)
Nissan Skyline R34
Audi TT
Maserati (D class - cant remember which model)
Lamborghini Gallardo
Lamborghini Murcialago
Kawaski Ninja
and the other bike thats good lol (cant remember now!)
I prefer going for a cruise in a nice motor, rather than the ridiculous speed/braking distance of something like the saleen. i test drove that and boy it was quick, but you have to brake veeery early lol.

1st of Feb is what most online shops are showing for Forza 2. Hope theyve overhauled this one, i didnt think much of the 1st one..it never really grabbed my attention for long enough. GT was much better at that imo

BTW just read that the 360 can do 1080p using component cables, or is ur TV doesnt have that input, via a VGA cable. I stand corrected lol
Anywayz i think you'd need to be sat quite close to the tele to recognise any real differences between HD qualities tbh

yes indeedy, P is the better reso. I just found out that P is natively displayed using either component or VGA cable (provided your tele supports 1080p)

Ok i don't think my telly supports 1080p, i get a funny picture when i switch to it, using 1080i at the moment.
Regarding the cables what is the difference? I'm using the supplied cable to connect to my HD tv, is there anyway to get a better picture from the 360?

did you get a premium console, if so you're prob already using the component cables which is all good. btw if you switch between 720p and 1080i, do you notice much difference in quality at all? During gameplay i mean

if you get core; prepare to get an external HD + a headset and maybe HD cable (if needed)
i think it's worth it, like the live/online features and graphics are very nice
although you must keep in mind what has xbox for you? i like shooters which you find a lot and race games.
got mine with a mobile contract so i'm not complaining
