Ryan i bought one of those Edonis thingies... Totally cost of £850k tuned... It's not much better than a Zonda as i raced one a couple of times, he had me off the line but i killed him top end and handling!

Sweet im definitely gonna get myself one then. Ive got lots of garage space now as i bought 3 more houses last night. Also I've now done all the races, all the speed ones and got about 5 or 6 time attack ones left. Oh and a shed load of missions 2 do. Won the concept shelby gr-1 - just had to have it in platinum! Burgaz, i think u should hide tony hawks away from ur missus 2nite!

Ahhh congrats to Mother Burgaz! Played that crackdown demo the other day, not bad but certainly not great and i doubt i'll be spending 40notes on it just to get the halo beta..im not that bothered! Also i noticed Burnout 5 is coming out soon, love those games will def be getting that. Hope they also release more forza clips soon, maybe even a playable demo

yeah definitely scottt, Sony's are good but overpriced. You can net yourself something just as good if not better and save yourself a wad of cashish. My flatmate works at Dixons and says the best makes to go for at the moment are prob Toshiba or Panasonic. Actually, he has just won an incentive and each staff member in his shop are getting £1000 vouchers... he's gonna buy a nice 32'' or 37'' HD when he comes back from holiday next week. Cant wait!!

Will add you too arien. Got stuck into PGR3 late last night and managed to get a few golds in cone challenges i couldnt do months ago as i thought it was too hard! Its so weird to drive in that game at 1st when used to TDU. Made me realised how shit the driving in test drive is compared to gotham. Its much more challenging than test drive aswell. Any one else playing gotham regularly atm?

I think you are right with regards to test drive, I have only played the demo so impressions are limited and based on only a couple of standard cars. That said the handling IMO is not on a par the PGR3, also grapically PGR3 has the edge.

I actually had a real good time on TDU this morning racing americans!!! It was the first time i've met decent americans online
Two guys (one in an F1 and one in a Lambo. They just wanted to cruise around and chat about cars. T'was a good larf!
We drove from the usual drag strip all the way to the race track. There were some guys on the track from a club that specialises in drift and they were bloody awesome to watch and quite cool to chat to!
Oh and i got a msg earlier inviting my to a Lexus race day on Sunday, anyone else get it?

I'm getting there slowly... Just bought a load of cars i've bin wanting nothing special just things like the RS4 and the Lexus. It was just after i bought the Lexus that i got the msg about the race day. Apparently if you win a Lexus race on the race day you actually win a Model of a Lexus?!?
Doubt i'll be online tonight last shift so will be on on the weekend! I bin playing a bit of PGR3 too (offline) bought a shed load of cars and i reckon ya right it does make TDU look and feel a bit poo, i just like the freedom of TDU tho!

I move into my 1st flat next week woohoo, and I am defo wanting an xbox 360. What are the best deals you guys have seen/got?
I won't use the headset, but defo want the 20gb HDD. Best i've seen is £249 on argos for the premium pack, but no games.
Also thinking of the wireless joypads, is it worth having these, cos I aint bothered about wires.

Really depends what you're into? I love racing games... Hence PGR3 and TDU! I Play both more offline than on! Dead Rising is awesome but the save system is rubbish and gets well annoying, but as long as you can put up with it it's a great game!
It depends what your into for me to be able to recommend more... That's the great thing about Live, you can download Demos of most new games!

Don't bother with NFS it's a bit poop unless you're really into the series... TDU= Test Drive Unlimited, it's absolutely awesome!
Gears of War is great but a bit short! Tony 8 is amazing my missus loved it too! Never bin into COD tho sorry but plenty of people love it!

I've been using Duracell batteries in mine and i've changed one pad once since xmas... I tried Rechargeables in the other pad but but they weren't too good the pad kept randomly turning off, very annoying when ya trying to beat the missus on Tony. But i use durracell in both now and they great. I do tend to turn the rumble off tho to make them last longer. I have bin meaning to get some charge pack thingies tho! Just never got around to it!

1) Obviously the faster your net connection the quicker your downloads
2) No if you start downloading a demo and then start playing a game the download pauses while your playing then when you stop it can be resumed

i think the download just stops when you enter anything 'online' during a game like multiplayer modes etc and when you're playing a game offline then the download resumes
