You dont need a HD because you can use a Xbox 360 Memory Unit (64MB), but a HD is a much better option as it works out loads cheaper. Plus you wont be able to download any demos as there isn't not enough space on the Memory Unit (64MB)

@dan afaik blockbusters are still doing the premium console for £249.99 with very limited stocks. If i were you i would look for that, or buy a nicely priced bundle deal from Gamestation rather than piece together peripherals for a Core console. You'll save yourself ££ in the long run

I've just done the tour of the island race on Test Drive in 45mins 15secs on my stage3 Ninja. Finished 3.6miles ahead of second place! And then i realised that the alfa you unlock is free! Just go to the dealer and buy it, no charge! Bonus!

the tour of the island race is right near the crater at the bottom centre of the map. If you just cycle through the single player races at the bottom using the d-pad you should come across it. The millionnaires challenge is on the west coast of the island aswell. Havent done that one yet...gonna give it a bash soon though! BTW my gamertag is pacecetta. ill add you later.
I watched that youtube vid that was posted earlier in this thread about how to get over to the secret island bit. Although a bit pointless, quite cool to bomb around it for a minute. Even better to wind a mate up that hasnt a clue to get over there when he can see you on the map hehe. The trick to get into the airport is cool aswell. Has anyone heard of any other secret parts/places on the map?
EDIT: scotts right, you need to get your rating up higher 1st before you can see the island tour race etc

righteo, i'll try and explain it. Bring up the map, on the extreme right hand side if you zoom in, you can see the little island all on its own. Adjacent to that on the mainland, the land sort of comes out like a round bump. Teleport yourself to that road. btw the 'E' logo is right on top of that hill, and from doing it last night, i even think there is a purple dot on the map to mark it. Ok, you'll need to travel in a south-easternly direction to get to a higher point of the road to enable you to drive up the mountain. Now just follow towards where you see that purple dot (or you should be able to bookmark the 'purple dot') just drive slowly on the top of the mountain and youll find it. Let me know how you get on!

I did the 'Millionaires Challenge' on TDU in under 40mins. Did it on a Stage 3 Kawasaki Ninja, some quick bike!
Did you know you're not charged if you're pulled over by the police during a race?, might as well stop when they're chasing you. It's quicker in the long run that way as you don't have to deal with roadblocks if the chase gets bad!

By the way, on the millionaires challenge (or any race), brake late into turns when using a bike, shift your weight back while braking. This way you'll have a quicker exit (not that the stage 3 Ninja isn't s**t fast in the first place!!!).

Think i am going to get Lost Planet tommorrow, have played the demo through a few times and am impressed, though i have read the whole thing about draining health? The fact your health constantly depletes and you need to collect those heat pick ups to top you up stops you from fully exploring the environments etc but i will wait and see
Oh and play.com have Forza 2 listed for release on the 28/03/2007

there certainly is, some people'll pay mad money for faceplates. Annoying really, as most of the decent ones are rare and costly. Although i do like the official carbon one thats only available in the states (or ebay)
@Scottt Have you got the PGR3 one (mentioned earlier in the thread)? only seem to check esato on html lite from work and cant see the pics....

The other day i thought, heck ive only played pro evo online once (and won) so i thought why not play some more games. After being defeated 6-1, 5-0 (by chelski yuk) 6-0 and 4-0 i wish i hadnt bothered

i know mate, its rather nice innit. The TDU one is like a mid-blue colour but its got a kind of translucent effect to it and it apparently looks quite cool when the box is turned on. I WANT ONE!
