My last phone (before T68) was Nokia 8210. Pretty good device (with some problems )for the time I purchased it.

My last phone just before t68 was a prehistorical ericsson GH688!!!

SH 888

I never ever saw such a robust phone. I did not try but i guess it was undestroyable even by stepping on it. Thanks to the metal body;

I would have loved to knock it against a kokia but the nokia users refused all the time. I wonder why ? I always thought plastic rules.
by the way my kids prefer NOKIA because they are used to fisher-price and Chicco toys.

I had a T39! After 5 Nokias I have finally found the right way! And now I own a T68 of course and I am glad that I have it!

N 6210. And I think that while /// (again) makes technically superior phones, Nokias are more user-friendly. I'm somewhat of a gadget freak and quickly figure out new appliances, and I had several Ericssons, Nokia's menu system remains far more logical and better arranged. The icons on the T68's top menu level made no significant difference in that sense. The underlying layers are unchanged and it usually takes more steps to reach a given function than at Nokia. Someone argued on a forum (was it this one?) that /// has to "evolve" its menus gradually so as not to dissapoint/confuse owners pf previous models. That sounds like a lame excuse for poor menu design.

Sony J5, very good phone. The sound system was fantastic, probably the best there is. But Sony let users down by not releasing software to synch sound/graphics/calendar, etc. And they were gonna charge for it. The T68 is so much easier to interface with. A T68 with the sony sound system mmmm i wonder how long it'll take SonyEricsson to put that together.

T68 rules!

Siemens s35i.

in my opinon as good as the t68 except that it didn't have a colour screen. i don't use bluetooth, wap, gprs... etc anyway so i might as well have sticked with my siemens. however the looks of the t68 convinced me to buy it... it IS a lovely phone i have to say that little t68 - I LOVE IT.

hope you don't lynch me for saying that my s35 was as good ! but it had everything I needed plus fast sms - it was ahead of its time, just as the t68!!!!!

It was my SAMSUNG A-100

Ok, lets see now.

back in March 2000 I bought an Ericsson A1018, but it was sooo slow!!! So I took it back after a week and bought a 3210. Then After 9 months I got a 3310, as it included 75 mins free calls a month for no line rental!!! And then in december 2001 I went to buy a T68 but the shop had no stock so I bought a temporary 8310, and in February, the shop finally got some T68's in and I swapped my 8310 for it. Direct swap and the 8310 only cost me £50
