cause in the US samsung mobile phones are know as anycall.
anyway i don't see much potial for this.

I think its great, it will be a change from D-pads and joysticks. If this idea is good maybe SE will adapt it to their phones.

Actually, "Anycall" is Samsungs phone brand in their home-market, South Korea...not in the US.

I don't see much point in the optical joystick anyway. It's hard controlling your mouse via keys, let along one on a 2" screen.

Actually it's just like turning your mouse over and navigating like that.
Still, I think the trackball is a better option instead of this (Blackberry Pearl).

its a nice idea but as boba has said it, it would be pretty hard to navigate on a crowded bus or on a train.
