hi guys

what video files can the p990i play?
and is there any apps/programs i can install on my phone which allows more video files to be viewed on p990i?

id look this up my self but im not on a pc. if some one can give me a quick response it would be much appreciated.

thanks in advanced

It can play MP4, 3GP and Real Media (rm) files.
I'm not sure if any applications exist to install on your phone to view other files, however, there are many applications you can install on your PC to converrt video files or even whole DVD's to any of the above formats. The best probably being "M3" created by our very own "Mysh":-

Will it play wmv files?

Posted by >500
@residentevil

the p990 or the core player?

Doesnt the k800i play more files than p990?

@ads, the UIQ Video converter in This Topic is brilliant which Mysh has very cleverly made for us. Have you tried it? Please do it is amazing and easy to use.

@peterkay,

yes i have got m3 indeed. its excellent. i have the older one too which he made for k800.

im asking this because if im on wifi and i want to watch the movie on the spot, most internet files wont play on p990i, as most files are wma/mpg. thats why i want an app which allows me to view movies as soon as they are downloaded via wifi. get what im saying

I`m glad it can play rm

@ads1107, see what you saying there buddy. See what Mysh has to say as he is the man who knows whats available

Ask him, he may sort this out for you.
Very clever he is.

peterkay, could u possibly pm him for me asking him. im using wifi on my p990i and will take too long to say what i want. pc is much easier to type.

core just sounds like a converter to me, or am i reading it wrong??? its a phone app isnt it
