Unbranding/Unlocking a 6234

My mum has a Nokia 6234 on Vodafon that she wants to unlock and debrand hopfully, is this possible if so can any 1 here do it for me or recomend a place in London that does it.

unfortunately u can unlock it with the operator code only, its a bb5 fone, just like the symbians, so it cannot be unlocked on the usually way

Only peeps who can do it are Vodafone, 6234 is a BB5 phone just like the N73,N70 and N80 etc, so cant be unlock by any other means other than Voda.

They should do it for £20, just give em a ring

also how much is a brand new boxed just switched on to see if it works 6234 worth?

Regarding the value of the 6234, is it gets unlocked and debranded i'd say £100, if not around £80ish?

value wise, scott is about right id say, maybe bit less than £80 for a locked one as they can be had brand new for £104 now from places like littlewoods etc when you use the 20% discount code for being a new member

its possible to unlock it already, ask around in the shops, who has bb5 box. but in that case the warranty is over
