Journalist Sivia Cattori Interviewed Jürgen Elsässer recently. He pointed out that the CIA recruited and trained the Jihadists. This issue is affecting all the Middle East, Central Asia & South Asia, and in many parts of Europe today. Read this revealing interview:

Its no great Secret that the CIA and U.S Government,Hired,Trained and Funded people Like Osama Bin Laden when they needed them!
Who's worse...The Terrorist or the Terrorists Creator?
The U.S only have themselves to blame!!

Didn't the US also back Saddam's regime too during the Iran/Iraq war?
I seem to remember seeing footage of Rumsfeld meeting Saddam...
Hopefully Afghanistand and Iraq have taught countries like the US not to meddle in the affairs of other countries, they have a tendency to turn round and bite you on the ass!

Sammy_boy,
Yes, Rumsfeld shook hands with Saddam, he also gave Saddam full support in its war against Iran
BTW, It was Tony Blair who encouraged George W. Bush to invade Iraq!

Thats correct VGA!
It was also the same U.S that supplied Saddam with the Chemical Weapons which we all know he used.
And its the same U.S that took the argument to the U.N that Saddam had WMD's and Chemical Weapons and justified a War against Iraq.
That famous handshake!

Oh.. Cmon everyone knows this! That was then.. This is now. Japan was nuked by the U.S in WW2. They happen to be the best of allies right now...
Posted by axxxr
Oh that makes a lot of sense that does, the U.S can wage wars on weaker nations and bomb and mass murder them to kingdom come and we should all just sit back and say well they might be friends in the future!
For arguments sake lets say if the U.S suddenly decided to attack India and i wonder what you think then?...when you lose loved ones then i will see how much neutrality you have toward such issues.
Its easy to make such comments from the sidelines when you not directly involved yourself!

Who is disagreeing with you here? Just read my post again. Can you deny the fact that japan inspite of what the u.s did to them half a century ago are the best of allies now? And we're not talking about individuals here. I have no animosity for the U.S. Do note that this inspite of U.s being anti india and pro pakistan for most of the post independence era. My point was that every nation has its own interests there is no permanent friend or foe. Damn! My fingers are aching me on the phone!

As for the point you made about the u.s attacking india and i losing my loved ones. If anything of that sort does happen, i'd of course be pissed off. BUT what if the same india after some years decide to be friends with U.s again? What will i do about it? Protest? I think you're in a somewhat similar situation there in the Uk ain't you? I think the time has come .... This planet needs a good dictator!

FFS, this German is only trying to sell his book...I couldn't read the whole article because it was badly translated and I ain't in the mood for a bad translation. The first bit deals quite a lot with the break-up of Yugoslavia...I probably agree with the author that Nato( note he does not mention the CIA) supported the Bosnians either directly or indirectly and turned a blind eye when Muslim fighters turned up in the Balkans.
But where's the nexus with what happened on 9/11? The West's actions in places like the Middle East/Balkans/Caucus might have created the environment for nutters like Osama bin Laden to prosper but blaming the CIA for "supporting" international terrorism is the stuff of fairies.

@brix, how are you mate?

@whizz: I'm fine except for the fact that it's a week away from Christmas and I ain't done any shopping for my loved ones.
Back on topic, the CIA is responsible for a lot of evils in the world but their actions should be viewed in the light of America's geopolitical interests...right now the chances are that they're supporting rebels in Darfur to fight against the Khartoum government who recently has become too friendly with the likes of China. In fact China is selling(giving) weapons to the Sudan government which is used in genocide...all because Sudan has oil and China has invested a lot of money getting the black gold out...that's politics for you.
