Well, about that if your phone will work with FAR manager or not, I can tell you that FAR manager has support for CID36 phones only, as the CID49 support is not released yet. I think the K310 is CID49 phone (as it is newer model) and you are not able to use FAR manager yet, but I'm sure you will be in the close future
. See the FAR manager thread on this forum and you will see how are the things with CID49 support going on. I think they mentioned somethink like CID49 support, but it will work only with service cable, so for the regular USB cables, it cannot be used

Well actually you will realise that you are using CID49 when you try to connect to FAR, and you get ERROR
. Actually there was an missunderstanding with the K750s. The older series were CID36 and the newer were CID49. The case is different with the K310. All new Sony Ericsson models are CID49 and aren't available to modify with far yet. They will be in some time. When the CID49 support is being released, I think it will the THE MAIN SUBJECT of talking on all Sony Ericsson forums. So you will be able to connect to FAR when CID49 is released.

Well if you see FS, try to get in that folder. If you get in without experiencing any errors, then your phone is CID36
.

A bit offtopic, is there a way to update the language on the k310?
Just bought an unlocked one and wanted to add portuguese, how do i go around to it, can someone please shed some light to a newbie?

The language depends on that which language support you have installed on your phone. There are several language packs which need to be installed when you are flashing the phone firmware. So to add language you will need to re-install the phone software with the language pack you want. Give a little search through this forum before you start advanced modding of your phone.

I ain't a noob exactly, i recently messed with FAR on my old k750 which i guess must be cid36. What i did when i got the k310 yesterday was update the firmware on the SE site, with no result in adding portuguese language. I got a friends 510 with portuguese language, is there a way to copy the language file and adding it on the 310, i suppose? Perhaps you could point me to a guide, if theres one.

The language supoort is different for all phones so it cannot be transfered from K510 on K310 or vice versa.

FAR does not support CID49 phones like K310, K510, W810 and etc... so the only way to flash is Gflash, Da Vinci or Wotan.
