Dual Sim Phones?

I was watching a technology programme on an Asian Sky Channel and they were showing phones that could take 2 sims at once and run them side by side with 2 signal strength indicators and everything.... The phones they were showing looked pretty cheap but has any1 seen any decent models that would work in the UK?
