The Swedish telecom equipment maker Ericsson and Japan’s electronics giant Sony will expand their cooperation beyond mobile phones to mobile and broadband TV.
The companies will together develop software to link their products through wireless networks. It deals mostly with mobile and broadband TV. The companies believe that telecom operators will have to offer mobile TV not to lose customers. Thus the joint venture of Sony and Ericsson will provide operator’s solutions for the services
