I'm sorry I'm unable to post a picture of it cos I'm out and do not have access to a computer at the moment. I'm thinking of getting the keyboard for my notebook cos it's got a USB connector. I just wanna know if the feel of the keys are like the classic keyboard with a good depth and a nice clicking sound. I don't like the notebook-style keyboards with the silent-typing kinda feature. Thanks.

Well, anyway, I've bought it, using it to post now. It feels pretty good, even though the keys have not much depth. The reviews I've read so far give it a pretty good rating, and I guess they're right about it. If anyone's looking to get a new USB keyboard, no harm checking this out.

looks pretty good ! wich shortcut buttons does it have ?

It has "Back" and "Forward" which as far as I know lets you do just that in your internet browser. They work in Firefox for me. "Volume -", "Volume +", "Mute", "Play/Pause" (which also opens Windows Media Player if it's not already open). "Web/Home", "Search", "Mail", which open your default browser, the search panel and your default mail program respectively. The best part is, after downloading Microsoft IntelliType Pro (it's a free app from the Microsoft website) I'm actually able to configure the hotkeys to launch other programs if I want to. I've configured my "Search" button to launch MSN Messenger cos I hardly use the Search function. It's one of the best keyboards I've used so far, and doesn't cost more than the average keyboard, so I definitely recommend it. I got mine for about US$17, but that's over here in Singapore, I'm pretty sure I've seen it selling online for less. One thing to note though, seeing it's got an ergonomic keypad layout, it may take some getting used to.

oh, nice do you know if it can be bought in white? since I have a white monitor and my CPU is in a silver case, black just wouldn't fit. cheers

Oh, over here I've only seen it in black and it's the only colour on Microsoft's website as well. You might wanna check out the Microsoft Wired Keyboard 500. I was actually thinking of getting it but it has a PS/2 connector while I needed a USB one. So anyway, here's the link:

No problem, only took me a couple of clicks. So your sis has the Wired 500 in black? Then maybe you can go get a feel of it and see if it's suitable for you.

will do, thanks!!

I managed to try out the Wired Keyboard 500 at a local electronics store. I'd say it actually feels better cos mine has the flatter notebook-style kinda keys, whereas the 500 has the more solid regular desktop keyboard keys. But it boils down personal preference I guess. Happy keyboard hunting!
