just asking, I thought maybe you didn't used W810 because of those 'small' file sizes. I was wrong

yep, I have massive chaos in my PMs... jizzz I need the secretary! uhmm, do you remember what was the answer?

@ raider

hi
sorry for late reply!

Is it true that other's say that more size more details? lets say same scene same setting

well, yes and no. we are talking about 2MP camera in which details level are limited by weak hardware. +/- 100kb is not really important. you shouldn't pay much attention on file size because most of details above 700kb are not real details but only so callled 'details' formed during compression

Just want to ask, what's supopose to be the average size for w810i compression which is ideal. Lets say a complex scene like forest

Posted by Raiderski
size strongly depends on scene but not only and there's no rule for this. the forest is complex scene, even if file size will be ~800kb this doesn't mean it is saved in great quality. huge amount of details can move jpeg compression process from ~90% to ~75% quality while any other picture with less complex scene can be saved in 90% quality and file size will be 500kb or less

I see then about the time taken. I see sarmad tooks about 15sec with 2s shutter speed time while in super driver same shutter speed 2s but only taken at 10 sec. does it mean super driver has less exposure? sf6.5 tooks about 5-7sec

Sf v6.5

nope, real exposure time is the same in these drivers

Posted by amnher
Then whats the effect? I mean super driver takes 10s while sarmad takes 15s? and sf5.6 takes 5s?

hi strong whats the difference between the different SF 6.5. There's this SuperFunction_v6.5_Fixed.rar, SuperFunction_v6.5_Final.rar and SuperFunction_v6.5_Fixed.rar for amnher. Which one to use?

from where to download the driver?
i am new here

Posted by amnher
The latest one is this link. Cause SF6.5 fix has very low file sizes where quality is compromised

Here it is

Superfunction 6.5Fixed.Update.05/06/2009
http://www.sendspace.com/file/rmog1g
THis is from Strong himself

@ strong I suggest you change the version to either 6.5.1 or 6.6

Thanks for that now people will not be confused anymore

Posted by oug
how to install the drivers.
do i need to patch .
pls reply.

Posted by stam91
oug, you need to upload file camdriver0.dat, according to your phone, to the path ifs/settings/camera/ ... You can use different flashers, such as XS++, JDFlasher (plugin to Far Manager), SeTool etc. GL!

To take people pics at low light condition, it's better to use the external flash accessory MXE-60. I posted a comparisson here:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=135737&start=7140
The problem is that real people keep moving, so even if you manage to don't shake your hands, people will move and blur the photo. MXE-60 kills the need of stillness, and coupled with post-processing you can make near digital camera quality at night (again, check the samples in the link)

@all
I made a new wallet reference guide. The idea of this guide is to keep it in the wallet, so you don't risk forgetting the guide and missing it when you needed most. This guide contains Ridersky default options plus the "Ultimate Exposure Computer" shutter recommendations adapted to Ridersky drivers. You can get it here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/64337939/Manual_c_mera.doc.html

And here's how it looks like in your wallet!

I high recommend reading the "Ultimate Exposure Computer" here:

My 9 year old HUB lol

Indoor low light

My poor DCU-60

Posted by amnher
@ strong I think theres a problem with SF 6.6 at this scene. Its in FINE mode but EM seems not working here tried it many times the same ISO 800 as if no EM. In other drivers sarmad, kriomag and raider it is not as noisy as this

Using ENM will fix it but overexpose. Manual speed shutter will but trial and error.

Hello,

is there a driver who can set manual iso setting for w810? thanks

Posted by amnher
ultra super driver 6.7.u2 has manual ISO

Posted by pidjong
yes i've tested ultra superdriver 6.7.2u2 but it doesn't lock on selected iso. I've set it to ISO > 100 and yet still shows up ISO 80.

Posted by Perzon
Some pics from my D750i. Testing raider 6.72 driver and it's realy good

What do ya think about it ?

Its because the lowest for our phone is 80 which is better than ISO 100 wherein in w800i its 100. The difference is only marginal

yes i know but when its dark it cranks up the iso also and wont stay even set to 100. I want to follow EV computer posted here. Since the phone has a fix aperture, we could only adjust the shutter speed and i want to lock the ISO to 100 or 80 to have the lowest possible noise.

Hi guys. I have big problem with 6.72 Camdriver. Yesterday I change driver to zuza v3, but I dont like it. Now i have raider from camdrivers.wz.cz and my photos look like that :

When I have good light i have "good" photo :

But in bad light i have that :

Bad light + Night Mode :

How to do better shots with this driver ? Can someone teach me how to set focus, profiles, shutter time etc ?

Raider zrobiłeś super sterownik ale nie potrafie zrobić nim dobrej fotki Doradź coś prosze

Actually Ultra Super Driver 6.7.u2 Shutter speed behaves differently than the Super Driver of raider. And EV computer is based on that,

Yea I read it but I still don't know how to set up this punctions . I need a tutorial like this :
Daylight photo of the river - focus 1.1 , exposure 2.0 , profile 1.1 -- Some like this

EDIT : Now I using lpachuong 8.4 and in my opinion this driver takes better pictures than Raiderski. This driver have a lot of manual settings like raider, but takes better shots on auto mode

Some Pics :

Posted by Raiderski
you should start from basic things:

1. subject is far or near? if far then don't use autofocus, use focus infinity like for landscape scenes
2. enable EM/ENM if amount of light is low or very low. enabled mode will prevent high ISO and picture will be much cleaner

every other settings are a secondary matter, sometimes useful, sometimes not

Posted by Perzon
EDIT : I will back to the Raideer 6.72 , but i need instructions Can u reply in Polish ohere or i PM ?

Będe wdzięczny

Using Macro + Manual focus (2.6) + Saturation

Using Normal Mode + Profile 1.1 (Clouds)

EDIT : Can someone show me photos from Kriomagf 21.91 modded by Raiderski ?

Don't use macro with manual focus just use autofocus cause Af works accurately most of the time, use macro on at very closeup shot same with manual focus and always use FINE mode. Otherwise try using sarmad 6.0

No just take a shot like a standard driver
Fine mode means 95% compression while 90% for normal. SO set it to fine mode then at good lighting take a shot as if it is a stock driver

I understand but HOW TO SET IT Now I'm testing Strong 5.6 because Raiderski 6.72 on low light have a lot of noise

Posted by Raiderski
noise? sorry but it's not the driver it's you - have you ever read the manual?

in good light driver don't need anything else than auto settings with proper white balance. you can't expect the same results in low light without EM/ENM modes enabled

if i remember well you have to set EV(joystick) to +3.0 and zoom key to 1.1 to enable EM at raider drive
