I can't open your driver with config tool 0.53, too. I get this error report.

hellooo!?! http://www.google.com/translate_t

Everyone ... Sorry, that in Russian ... But I have a question: Why do you not Uppakhut-resolution photos with a real phone ..? And then, in fact, the 800 quality х600 UVIDISH NOT ... I wish original size photos ...

with errors but easy to understand

If photos are uploaded to esato they are resized automaticly to 800x600 ...
When i want to demonstrate real size picture quality i upload it on imageshack.us (egzample: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=135737&start=8100 )

A4A 13.00 Beta1

Founded Bug in ISO setting:

lpachuong, when we change ISO value for other manual value and after back to auto-setting (Zoom 1.0), ISO100 is fixed and only after new shot this option back to normal.

Sorry for my poor english.

Hello everyone!

Now, more two shots with lpachuong's A4A 13.00 Beta1 Camdriver:

Complex image test, thicket (manual shutter speed) [changed photo]

Beautiful image, colour and sharpness are great here (manual shutter speed)

See this image in original size.

Excellent work lpachuong! this BETA camdriver is the best version which i have tested, no doubt.

If you fix the tiny problems (preview filtering auto-off after exit focus preview and ISO related above), this camdriver to be perfect.

Sorry for my poor english.

Sorry if i offended You but i dont understand how can You be proud of picture taken with ISO800? o_O
One of primary targets with modded drivers are - less noise, good WB etc.

Thank you everyone for your comments on A4A-v13.00 beta version. I will spend time to fix the "little" bugs I "grow" I have just come back from a short holiday due to the Lunar New Year (Chinese New year) so I couldnot reply your PM. Anyways, HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone.

Kriomag,

#1 - Really in the first image ISO no is 100 (is 640), for this, i have deleted image on my post for put other with ISO100.

#2 - Image on photo is totally suitable with reality. In the moment of photo are 18h and here is end of afternoon, when sunlight is naturally yellowish.

Sorry for my poor english.

1. Much better - proper green and no noise

2. IMHO sky is yellowish, i dont think its natural :/
similar example from my pitures:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=135737&start=8160
(first picture was taken with auto wb and blue sky is yellowish/unnatural, on the second picture blue is perfect as it was when taking picture).

SPU 1.4 beta 1

New, very experimental driver =)

Changes since 1.3 beta 9 (if anyone remember this version):

1. A lot of changes in code =)
2. Normal mode - locked ISO 100 (or whatever on W810?) for high quality photo (auto shutter speed can be as low as 4 fps).
Night mode - ISO 800 priority for fast shot (auto shutter speed can be as low as 4 fps).
3. Added compression mode for MXE (50%).
4. Some changes in the supermode table (see manual).

One thing is not fixed: picture filtering will not be enabled for zoomed pictures if picture filtering is disabled in current mode.

Links (short manual included in the archive):

Plain driver (no manual): http://nwamdclub.nktb-kristall.ru/camdriver0.dat
ZIP archive (with manual): http://nwamdclub.nktb-kristall.ru/camdriver_spu_1_4_b1.zip

@lpachuong
your driver is real good but it has no sync with mxe60.

Posted by SPU
Actually my last driver also can be "out of sync" with MXE due to luck of the "base shutter speed". I mean there must be overexposure... If so, i know how to fix this, but i need tests from users =)

hi. (W810i - R4EA031 - DB2010 - CID49)

normal (poor light)

fine (poor light)

night (poor light)

fine (good light)

(The startup is slow, ~4 seconds to start cam. and focus slow too, but only in low lighting. It is as if you were in the Night mode)
Sorry for the English translated Google

Yes, it's slow in startup because driver need to execute a sequence of commands where each command must wait the end of execution of previous one.
I'll try to speed up the startup code and i have an idea how to speedup autofocus in low light conditions.

P.S. Normal & Fine mode switches compression methods, nothing more, so your first two shots are identical.

Two shots of my printer (indoor, one 100Watt bulb), tungsten WB:

Normal mode (day) = slow shot:
Results: ISO 100, exposure 1/4 s

Night mode = fast shot:
Results: ISO 800, exposure 1/40 s

To all moders:
Im very impressed with Your work (lpachuong, SPU, Raiderski, Chengrong etc.).
Your drivers are very advanced! At this moment i can understand most of your code so im impressed even more! (because i dont have patience to make so advanced driver! - i could, but i just dont have patience). ;D
Keep up with great work!

@armarsidhu,
As you know i dont have mxe60 so I dont know whether my driver syncs well with it or not. However, I would like to suggest you to use Normal Mode to take picture with MXE60 and I think it will be fine. Looking forward to your news

@Sombra
I have got messages from you and I will try to use my free time to make the driver free-of-bugs. However, it the moment i have a project with VBA.net so I cannot concentrate much on I2C. Sorry for my delay.

@kriomag
I also have learnt a lot from you

Ok lpachuong, i only report over quality, problems and suggest corrections, but your BETA camdriver is perfectly usable for me (my new choice for permanent use).

Thanks for reply, sucess on your project and cheers!

Clasp.

Sorry for my poor english.

Hi there.
SPU great driver. fantastic quality but i have one question. Anyone can tell me how can i change vievfinder speed from 4 fps for something high?? for previev like in other drivers, without changing shutter speed??

Posted by SPU
Milu
You can change minimal fps to 8, but in a good light conditions you'll get a lot of autofocus fails. Just replace NORMAL_FRAMESKIP and NIGHT_FRAMESKIP values with 01 or/and you can rise minimal shutter speed by editing this values NORMAL_SLOW_SHUTTER and NIGHT_SLOW_SHUTTER;
Btw, i plan to solve somehow the contradiction between fast viewfinder and autofocus.

SPU Good think !!!

Two pictures witch Kriomag 21.93....BTW can someone make a GUI for w810 like this?

Posted by Kriomag
My brand new W810i Black has arrived
Now i need to debrand it (Orange - BLEH) and apply some patches (how can i check CID version? im at work and no usb cable around...)

...and DAMN IT"S FAST (taking picture is super fast!)
and there is no joystick! yes!

PS. Now where can i get new (original) k750i back-panel? (i dont wanna scratch lens)

Posted by pietropizzi
Nice pictures !

I made this GUI for K800, it's just a replacement image for the ZoomBar.
I don't have W810 but I think it must work the same way. Try to find out the name of the ZoomBar PNG in the sysgrfx, manipulate it just a little in size/color and load it up. If it works you can go into detail....
I can upload my GIMP-Template for my actal SuperMode GUI for K800 but I think that for W810 it may be of different size....

EDIT: I don't know if W810 has a Marker-Image (the orange marker-stick). Maybe it just counts up/down then you can't use a GUI like that. But maybe just a small INFO-Screen wihich tells the EV-Value --> Function relation.

@Kriomag - use XS++ to find out your cid but since its brand new it should be cid51 which means less pathes

yes, yes - i know that but right now im at work so i have no usb cable
in service menu it says: "C: 49 P: 1" - is this cid49?

PS. Is CID51 W810i? i think there are only CID49 and CID50 W810i :/

Does this mean that you'll release a W810i optimized release of your camdriver? Specifically designed for it? *hopes*
I only know of one such driver and it's the Sarmad 6.0

yes - after i'll find all necessary patches and debrand firmware - i will make version based on W810i driver with low jpeg compression etc.

Now im testing JPEG settings and i've found that max filesize for w810i camera is ~900kB (like in K800). So best (as far i figured out) is 95% jpeg quality = filesize is between 800-900kB

Today im too tired to do more tests - i must sleep now!
