@Raiderski
Sorry, I dont understand what you mean with maximum quality, but if you mean maximum size, my biggest pict with sarmad 6.0 is 820 Kb.
Posted by MarkJason
@Sarmad - How can I change your compression for MXE-60? How can I put SPOT PHOTOMETRY on your camdriver? I'm using Sarmad 5.8... Nice driver... If the 2 above questions are solved, this will stay in my phone...

pram_zx
if you set 100% quality in driver this doesn't mean that your photos have 100% quality. that's why i think there is no good reason to set anything above 95%. quality value can be found in EXIF
Posted by MarkJason
@Raiderski - Does the perfect sync of the MXE-60 rely on the compression? Cause the original value is 50% compression right? I tried setting a higher value but it was out of sync but lowering it made it worked...
Posted by Raiderski
yes
Posted by MarkJason
So what % do you think is the optimal compression for MXE-60? 80% by askd? or 70% by andeo?

Can someone download for me all patches for W800i R1BD001 firmware form topsony.com? (i cant because i have limited access...)

@Raiderski - Can you explain me what's with that code? Yours and Sarmad are similar... I only understand the old codings.. not the new ones..
Sarmad driver has 07 02 00 13 5B 5B 5B

Guys, can u tell me whats the newest stock cam driver for k750/w800/w810 ?
Is it 5.3 ?
Thanks

@Raiderski
I have K750i CID49brown with R1DB001 firmware and this firmware doesn't allow me to save zoomed pictures at 2MPx resolution. It saves picture without zoom. I cannot load another firmware (R1CA021) because of "brown" and it is a big risk to convert it to "red". Is there some way, how to bypass this restriction? I mean in camdriver. Please help...
Posted by MarkJason
I guess so... K750/W800 stock driver 5.3 firmware R1BD001 is the last stock driver i think...
Posted by MarkJason
@Tuner - Your stuck with that... New CID49 models of the K750i have restricted zoom... You can't zoom at full resolution... The only way to have full zoom is to change the camera module of your phone to a CID36 camera module... and the zoom will work agian... It's a hardware issue... not software...
Posted by Tuner
@MarkJason
No mate, you are not right, cause CID49 red with R1CA021 saves zoomed pictures, but with R1DB001 does't. I am sure.
Posted by MarkJason
Trust me... I have a K750i CID49 R1CA021 RED... converted into W800 CID49 R1BC002 firmware... I can't zoom...

You are wrong, my brother has cid49 with cid49 camera module - no matter what firmware he use he cant save zoomed pictures!
I have cid49 phone but with older camera module (from cid36) and zoom works!

Krio have right.
Cid 49 cam module cant save zoomed picture. O heard that someone can save zommed with cid 36 but its so sparsely u know.
Posted by leetiran
I think you are all wrong.
Not all the CID49 cant zoom. Just from sometime the cid49 cant zoom, at least from 06W39. My phone is cid49, produce in 06W18, but it can zoom.

Flicker Correction removes yellowishness? :/
No, only for indoor pictures with light on
I just tested all 3 settings and i get best result (with bulb light) with value 3
bulb light? means incandescent light bulb?
for Fluorescent, I think if your country power system frequency is 60Hz,value 3 is the best,if it is 50Hz,value 2 is the best.

rigth
Correct each country or continent has its frequency or prefer to work in certain frequencies used the most are the frequency of 60 MHz generated by this generation plants can be down by generators down "traffic generator" that the frequencies to 55 MHz or 50 MHz but there are fluorescent lamps with different colors ex: fluorescent white ice and fluorescent yellow

my phone is cid49 06W34 and it can zoom because it has the old, good one, camera module
So... all phones made after 06W34 have crappy camera module without zoom?

I cant see difference in photos quality after changing firmware you recommended :/
Why quality should be better after changing firmware? As far i know quality depends only on two things:
- camera module ('cid36' is best for k750i/w800i)
- camdriver0.dat
or am i wrong?

I think the camera module which cant zoom in big size maybe not bad. Maybe it has different zoom funtion, it cuts picture from 1632×1224.
for example, in 640×480 size, when 1x, it takes in 1632×1224 and saves as 640×480, when 2x, it takes in 1632×1244, cuts 1280×960 of the pic and saves as 640×480, when 2.5x, it takes in 1632×1224, cuts 640×480 of the pic and saves. in 1632×1224, it only has 1x for this method. So the camera module can zoom 2.5x in 640×480, but cant zoom in 1632×1224.
If it is this method, the picture quality wont be bad when zooming.
it just my imagination, maybe is wrong

photos without zoom with new cammodules (at full resolution) is not a big problem - NOISE! is a big problem (and some other things like lower sharpness value and not working saturation change!)

You are totally right. K750i can only save zoomed pictures at smaller size by edge-cutting (crop) from the originslly size (1632x1224). I remembered i complained about this a long time ago

@Kriomag: That seems to STILL be the problem with my K750 cid49 with cid36 camera module. Pics with any K750 firmware are still pretty terrible in terms of noise and sharpness. I flashed it to W800 r1bc002 and uploaded 5.3 camdriver. Do you know which camdriver I could use which has the proper sharpness value for the cid36 cam module? Or how to tweak sharpness value on your camdrivers? I tried your 21.91 and it was great but pics were still pretty bad because of cid49 cam module.
Any answers appreciated.
Cheers

The other problem of the new cid49 maybe come from this reason that the camera module is a new one, but the driver is old. The new cid49 camera module is similar to K550's, maybe the driver or some commands of K550 can be used in new cid49. maybe someone would test it
Posted by lpachuong
When I have free time I will test or you can test by urself by changing the I2C bus on k550 and use the correct properties for it.

I cant do that because my camera module is the old one.

One thing I should mention about zoom:
With original driver I could zoom only 2,5x at VGA resolution, but with modified driver I can zoom 4x at VGA.
No matter if zoomed picture size is VGA or is interpolated. If possible, let the driver saves zoomed pictures without interpolation.
I had many problems to crop taken pictures in the phone. It is depended on MIN MAX AVG quality values in camdriver, if values are not correct, it fails during saving the crop (of already taken picture without zoom).

Kriomag it looks better and better on every pic but isn't there the overexposure problem in ENM,EM? And is the driver compatible with your configtool?

My configtool?
Overexposure problem? i dont know - i had overexposed ENM picture once (and LedENM), but i dont know what caused it :/ but in 99% of cases there are no problems

max sharpness value depends only on cammodule version
for CID36 cammodule: max value is 6
for CID49 cammodule: max value is 5

yesterday i was checking lengstree 5.11
pics with this driver are very very sharp and clear
but this has no sync with mxe60
can we do something about this
Posted by MarkJason
Out of sync is caused by low compression... try making it higher like 70%... The default compression is 50%... I use Sarmad 5.8 and it syncs pretty well.. but i want to lower the compression a bit more but i don't understand his coding... its different from the original... I tried the values Raiderski gave me, its a bit lower but i wanna test if it can be lowered some more...
