i think that your 6.6 driver is wonderful and i'm still testing it to see and to learn how it behaves
so far it produces really good (or probably the best) quality photos in comparison to any other drivers that i have tested!!!
BTW these pictures were taken in the worst town in UK which is Luton
though from the pictures no-one could tell how terrible this town is

These pictures were taken in a better lighting environment than the previous ones. These are all taking in fine mode and in macro mode. Auto Focus.
Note again all pictures are taken by the A4A 8.5 driver.

when i select zoom from ev the camera zooms in but when i press shutter i exits zooms ..............and takes photo with out zoom ....again when half shutter is pressed the camera is in zoom but in picture there is no zoom

reduce the size of the picture by pressing '1' to 640x800 then take picture with zoom. if it doesn't work then i have nothing else to say.

good quality amazing sharpness but there are two annoying things
1) a lot of shots,are blurry,probably for enm even activated and for shutter speed too slow
but for me photo has good color
2) many times camera crashes,also in good light conditions
it's very unusually
so if you can decrease compression a bit,and improve the shutter speed,this driver is an other good release
i don't know,probably i'll come back to kriomag 21.92 mod by raiderski or darkmagician 0.92

These pictures are taken with the A4A 8.5 driver i finally got around to the chance of taking some long distant shots instead of macro close up shots. These are taken at sun set.
Thats about it for now, thanks alot. A4A 8.5 driver. I'll try out the 8.8 driver however i'm really satisfied with this driver so when the 8.8 driver is released i'll post some shots.

but the zoom is not smooth i liked zoom of darkmagician which is amicably smooth......
i am attaching two photos 1st is macro off with zoom while 2nd one macro on with zoom for your comparison.........

dude,i think macro on is for close range only...10 to 40 cms range..dats why,your picture is blurry when you took long range with macro on

boss i a have tested your driver for w810 in file which was named camdriver0FF.zip
the zoom in perfect its very smooth but it was only working with macro off
with macro on camera zooms with half shutter pressing but when it takes picture the zoom is gone.......
then there is an other problem in ev +1.7 that when once you change value the screen gets darked and does not return to normal even going back to 1.0
here are few shots some of them are nice but some times picture gets blur ....
any way i have not tested your cameraofft3.zip .......
and kindly also upload guide.txt in you zip files because i do not have your ev setting guide in any of files which i have downloaded

zoom is excellent its as smooth as it should be and its also working well with both macro on and off
but with macro on the picture is still getting blur but not like fix 1 its better then that
if i try to focus picture in zoom , zoom is exited at focusing on infinity i.e 1.1 and also at 1.0...........
any way great job ...............

Good morning everyone. Sorry for my late release of A4A-8.9.
This time, A4A's code is based on A4A-8.5, not SPU code. I found that it is difficult to mix these to code together. Therefore, I created A4A-8.9 with my own code. Other modders please help me check it out and suggest me any solutions for the bugs. Thank you.

What is new about A4A-8.9 ?
.. New code for compression: I have tested it on K750i CID49 @ w800i r1bc002 firmware. I haven't tested it on w810i or cid36. If you test it, please tell me whether you get crash or not and at what scence (please PM me the situation so that I can try to test by myself). Also w810i users please tell me the size of the pictures to make sure that it works. The compression will work at lvl 98% initially and if it cant save the picture, 91% of compression will be automatically used.
.. Terminator: as I promised you, zoom+focus infinity is workable now. Moreover, its zoom is faster than zoom in 8.8 with shorter increasing steps.
.. Video recorder now can use supermode whereas it was not available on the previous versions. Change FPS is replaced for Change ISO in video mode as well. (The other functions are still the same)
.. EM on/off can be turn on/off in normal/fine quality. ( Thank you jonaugust

In brief, I think the bugs on previous versions are fixed now. The only thing concerns me now is compression. Please tell me what do you think about 8.9's quality and size of pictures as well as functions.

Strong: I just tell what I see. I remember you have a cid36 camera module which must not have that much noise at the back of the horse. Anyways, I know you are the only one who post full size pictures from ur drivers and that is good, I appreciate your work as well. However, lpachuong and raiderski they dont post their pictures, which doesn't mean their drivers are not good.

In some tests with your new camdriver (A4A 8.9) i perceived oversaturation if photos taked in EM on, (colors are normal in EM Off), the final result is beautiful, but also appear superficial, how if the images gained special treatment in softwares type Photoshop.
Examples:

EM Off - Real Colors
EM On - Enhanced Colors
Of any form, this camdriver version is marvellous and is my choice for use.

Once i got the file size of "626KB", this is the highest file size ever had in my K750i cid49, first time was with SPU 1.9 b9 around "625KB"

Now I am really happy with the compression. Finally I can manage it. It is quite difficult. Other modders if you want to use the code, please pay attention to these from my driver:

very nice colours and sharpness even in low light, but it's taking long time to save and the compresssion is too high i think, it's crashing too many times
Once i got the file size of "626KB", this is the highest file size ever had in my K750i cid49, first time was with SPU 1.9 b9 around "625KB"

His compression is just at 85% and it doesn't relating to SPU's code. The problem you got crashes is bcz he set up very high Max,Min, Avg values.
