looks like you have a newer version of the R1CA021, older version allows you to zoom at all res. you need to use a different firmware than that one(an old R1CA021 recommended)

Are there two different R1CA021 versions for k750 i WONDER? Do you mean one for CID 36 and another for CID49?

im afraid you've said it. im cid36 and my zoom works in all resolutions.

Hi, chengrong
Im afraid that full rez.zoom works only on CID36 for k750. If so, please post this info on your first page thread.

Hey man.. did u remember to take out ur batt and put it back in again before trying to turn it on?

Flash it with seus and it should be fine.

Wow, chengrong! Nice driver!

Posted by miguel19
How about normal mode of 8.53? Will i get nice pictures too?

Posted by brettlee
I've not managed to try it out yet on normal cam mode. But what the heck, I'll still use the Night Mode at most times even in outdoors or places with good lighting conditions. The new scene modes are excellent too. Using the volume control to switch modes - that's clever!. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to snap some pic in the mall near my office building tomorrow.. Been busy in the office lately

ChengRong, this version is the best for me so far. But just like others' opinion, if you could also incorporate the manual settings option to this build.. You'll really have come up with a SUPER KICK ASS CAM Driver

THanks again.. Hope you guys will also enjoy this driver as much as I do.

So, i have downloaded the 8.53 camdriver0.dat.

Placed it in ifs/settings/camera

Started the phone, opened the camera. Move the joystick in the directions mentioned in the first post + pressed * when required..and nothing happens.

What am i doing wrong?! Am i misinterpreting the instructions.

I have a CID49 k750 that is now a w800 with R1BC002 software version.

I have all w800 files and directories, i havent just flashed the FS.

Camera crashes when you take a pic in a dark environment... And it takes tooo long for the camera to save the pic... And sometimes the enhance nightmode doesn't work... the ISO 100 and 2 sec. settings... Anybody have these problems?

And i've change the property e in the camdriver so MXE-60 flash is always on... Can this affect the driver in anyway?

^^^ I had a siilar experience It doesnt quite crash, the flash light starts blinking...Seems like nothing is happening then it says 'saving' - Agreed it does take a longtime. No idea what is going on but it has happened to me. I think maybe the process/capabilities of the driver are in some instances to much for the processing power of the phone

Is you change seq_set_prop_e_1= 06 02 00 01 04 5a #CMD_END;
to seq_set_prop_e_1= 06 02 00 01 03 5a #CMD_END;

it may be over exposure.

About 2s, it is SE software limited in EXIF, The ture exposure about 10s.

Yes! I change 04 to 03 in the property e... Is there no ISO setting in this driver? Do i have to change the scene so that i can take good shots? Like when i'm in a very dark room, should i use the night scene? Because when i take a shot in a dimmed lighted room, it overexposes the pic... Adjusting the EV would solved that but i wanna know if it's a bug? How can i avoid that? Sometimes the overexposure is there and sometimes not...

In a very dark room use normal(1.0) , Night scene mode(1.4) is used to take pictures when the town's night.

About over exposure, Please post pic.

These two pics have the same lighting conditions but their results are different...

Exposure time - 2 sec.

Exposure time - 1/2 sec.

It still has the problem... Too much time to take a pic... Can you decrease it to let say 1 sec. or 1/2 sec.? It seems that 2 secs. is too much for indoor shots... I got the best pics with 1/2 sec. Clean and bright! Hope you guys can fix this... Nonetheless, AWESOME drivers!!!

8.53 is good. But does not work correct in my K750 Cid49, because there is no zoom in full res. There are several camdrivers with zoom in full rezolution in my K750 Cid49, for instance Super driver from Zuza.

Dear Chengrong, would you please adjust your driver for CID 49. I will be more universal. And why do not you want to inform about problem with CID49 on first page of this topic?

@ chengrong
The 8.53 is really good driver. On my D750 (changed to W800 R1BC002) it works perfect. There is an optimal sharpness, very low noise, real colors. I like the possibility to change scenes by zoom button. The EnhanceNight Shot is great. And the size of the pics is optimal too. The phone has no problems when switching to preview to 4x zoom after taking a photo (in photo mode).
Nice job man. Thanks

Do not try to limit down the size of the photo size. It definitely kill the pictures. Limit the size will store less details in the photo. More room to store thing and less noise and more detail. THat is what the photo expert told me.

Posted by chengrong
I agree with you. To use low level at manual exposure scene( 1.8 ) ,it is only compromise for hardware limitations.

Here are the pics with EXIF... ( sorry for posting it in the phone photos section )

The exposure is 2 sec. but in the EXIF it says 1/1 sec.

This should be the result and not in the first pic... ( Nice clean pic )

AWEsome and wonderful shot man! Love it.. Ain't 8.53 superlicious?

@ Brettlee - Didn't you encounter problems like mine? We have basically the same phone. I have problems with the overexposure thing when taking shots indoors...

Posted by chengrong
@MarkJason

Can you shoot a photo with same scence and using normal mode?

Posted by stingjoel
@ChengRong,

Can you give us guidance; on what situation will we use these scenes?
- Normal
- Portrait
- Landscape
- Nightportrait
- Nightscene
- Sports
- Beach/Snow
- Document
- Manual Exposure

What is the difference between “smoothly zoom for day mode” and “normal zoom at Night mode”?

What you are saying is that this camera driver doesnt work all that great on cid49 phones?

So, the only driver that could work is zuza3? I had zuza 3 and the photos were worse than those taken with the origina w800 driver..

Anyway, can you please give us a link to the newest zuza driver? Maybe i have downloaded a bad version or something..

Posted by smuko
@chengrong

Could you post a complete list of all the current functions included in the driver, because I'm a bit confused.. Are all the old functions gone? How do I set exposure, shutter speed, ISO?

Hmmm.. not true at all. I'm using a W810i, which is CID49. And it works

Posted by vstrglv
Is there a person whose K750 CID49 works in full resolution with 8.53?

Posted by max_wedge
@Chengrong, congrats on an excellent effort. It's freakin' brilliant what you've done with the SE driver. Super camera driver 8.53 is INSANE! Nightmode superlative, white blotches GONE Noise bars GONE! Zoom excellent (did you modify the smoothing algorithym?) The positioning of controls makes the new features very accessible, an excellent choice of compromises.

Half-lock EV; perfect, a much needed addition to the K750. White balance adjust via +/- is a stroke of genius, solves a major gripe I have with K750. And of course the choice of scenes gives a much greater flexibility.

Awesome, and thanks very much for sharing your efforts.
