@ Chengrong - Nice to hear that! How about the ZOOM problems with the others like me? Have you fixed that? Or it is within our phones? Have you tried that with MXE-60 and have ISO 100? What about the standard settings? Have you fine tunned it now or it is just stock settings?

Just can't wait to try out ChengRong's next upcoming version!! Another thing, has the ISO resetting when shutter speed is set bug fixed? This is a major bug I see, as I often lower the ISO down to 100 and set a slower shutter speed at night , to get vivid and noiseless pic. The current version just resets the ISO to a higher level.. resulting in some noise..

Also, the sharpening feature.. Do you guys see any noticeble difference? What does it really do btw?

And Spot mode.. Is it the same as the standard Macro mode when turned on?

Posted by chengrong
Many question about ver 8.52. The bugs will be fixed in next verison. But this new version isn't base on 8.52. Enjoy 8.53!

i really need 2 update my camera driver, jus hope i aint mess it up while doing that

Posted by pimp123
Chngrong thanks for all your hard work.

So you are saying there's no way now to take a picture with custom settings like in 8.52?
Damn, this is going to disappoint a heck of a lot of people.

I was so looking forward to a working version of the driver with manual selection of ISO and exposure time. And without any flash light interference of course.
I am alomost in depression now.

Thank you for the suggestion, I had intended to merge this version and version 8.52, but this work too complicated.
After this version of a stable, the work can begin

Well, today everything works fine..
Someone already wrote here, that he's dissappointed, because 8.53 is a whole new driver.. excelent, but much different from 8.52... Maybe you can consider realesing 8.52 with some fixed bugs, as a new line?! For those which want to change EVERYTHING manually?!
Whatsoever.. thanks very much for 8.53.. I really enjoy it, will post some pics later..

Have a nice day

8,53 is better or 0.9 is better camera driver ? please help me ?

Posted by Holdit
^^^

Is apples better than oranges? They are different -

I just made the switch to see what all the fuss was about and to be honest, the feature I find useful is the brightness feature. The scenes make little sense to me. The more u tweak, the slower your phones gets. Takes ages to snap and process a shot, then when u look at the saved pic, its blurred because u moved to soon

If you are taking pics of dead insects or someting with a tripod you could get interesting results but as a general phone cam driver, Its not the best for usability on the move.

I had 0.9 and its a very solid driver, but I think I found 7.7final better suited to the w810i firmware.

Posted by chengrong
It depends on your choice.

Fantastic job on the night vision. I did a direct comparison between the 7.7 Final drivers nv with the 8.53 nv on.

Original With no Night Vision

7.7F

8.53

Now Try 8.53 and make your own mind up

Posted by onthespot64
@hojjat2006

You cant compare v8.53 with v0.9 really because the thing with the cam driver v0.9 is that it has fixed settings or values while v8.53 is flexible and its settings/values can be changed/modified to your preference/liking thus giving you different outcomes(some of em cool).
Also on another note that cam drivers react differently to different firmwares(and phones too). There really isnt a "better" cam driver. Think of it as, "Theres a certain cam driver for certain phones and its firmwares". You gotta find out which cam driver is "the most compatible" to yours.
Its like getting a girlfriend. If the girl(phone/firmware) likes the guy(Cam Driver) things are gona work out right and they'll make beautiful err...pictures together but if "not" then things are not gona work out right. HAHAHA!!!

Now if you want to find out which cam driver works best on your phone, try out the ones that your interested in and see for yourself if that driver gives you the best results.

As for v8.53 which is very flexible, why don't you give it a try and experiment with it.

The choice is yours to make. I do hope I was clear in my statement. Correct me if I made any mistakes and.....

....Good Luck and Happy Testing!

For better standards, different people will have different answers.
The normal scene mode of 8.53 version is more realy.it is exactly the same as your eyes see,but darker then other drivers.
I want to emphasize the version 8.53 are many useful functions. Its principle is not the same as other.

The version 5.3 is provide by SE,But we are don't like it.
The version 8.53 is provide by me. You are like or not. It depends on your choice.
Do not waste time on this issue.Try to find the answer yourself.

@chengrong

i can never explain how we thank you for these efforts... again... another SuperCAM re-invented... nicely done... i personally liked the NightShots... tremendous improvement... lesser noise than any other camdrivers out there.

and with the re-definition of commands... this is well accepted..

CONGRATULATIONS Chengrong for another magnanimous driver.

hi ChengRong,

Tried your latest driver 8.53, and really lovin' it!!! Seriously the enhanced night mode REALLY ROCKS! I wasn't able to get such clear and vivid shots with other cam drivers. I think this driver really works well with W810i..

Lemme post an samplpe. shot..

I was NEVER able to get the clarity that on the greeting card with other drivers.. Only 8.53 managed to capture it.. super clear.. and in low light condition!!

Good work, CHengRong.. I'll keep this driver for now.. And I'll post more sample pic soon.. This is exciting..

It is clear, but what firmware? There is no zoom in full resolution on my K750 R1CA021 CID49!

Posted by tranced
looks like you have a newer version of the R1CA021, older version allows you to zoom at all res. you need to use a different firmware than that one(an old R1CA021 recommended)

i have done all the step. Once it done... i try to switch on my W810i but it wont start? what happen? have anyone with W810i with this problem...... my phone is dead now Pls help..........
