When you plan make a new version without CC - 21.8, please, if it is possible, put in this version the SPOT option, similar to version 21.5
Thanks.

sorry, picture quality is reserved for other option now... why you need spot so badly? just increase or decrease EV same effect...

Thank you blksnaker for this great driver! it`s the best driver for me.

Posted by norbi_nw
@EduX
dude, increase EV to +1.3 and you have SPOT! Same goes to AEL... These 2 (SPOT & AEL) can be achieved by increasing EV -.-

Posted by EduX
Yes, You are right, but in some situations, there is not enough time to adjust EV.

to BLKSNAKER: Can I ask, what does "- BEST JPEG COMPRESSION WITHOUT LOOSING QUALITY" mean exactly? Better than 89 (without stability problem) or some speacial tweaks?

[ This Message was edited by: Mr.Kája on 2007-04-17 22:28 ]

Posted by BLKSNAKER
It means that the driver will provide you average pics of 350kb, but when compression implys loosing details...this would be lower and pics will get 520kb more or less to maintain the details...and it has no stability problems..this is checked.

Try to select the best camdriver for my w810...

I wish it to be:
1. easy and natural, that I can remember how functions operate and that switching between them doesn't take tons of time , then people booo me...
2. sharp pictures with default mode (that I can turn camera on and shot)
3. possibility to take fast shots like sports and so on (manual focus set to infinity is a good solution)
4. preferebly as little grains in darkness as possible (ENM works pretty well I think)

Bellow are pictures taken with Sarmad's 5.03 and Korpitis 5.32. Unfortunately Kriomag's 21.6 didn't do as good as these two, probably I didn't spend enough time to study it ... you cooool Man any way!

For me Sarmad's 5.03 works the best (5.1 worse). The only thing I miss the most with it is to take fast pictures (moving obgects, like sports), may be I just don't know the way ...? Probably it could be solved by substituting zoom function(useless any way) in normal mode by manual focus?

Korpitis 5.32

Sarmad's 5.03 (colors are closer to reality then Korpitis 5.32)

and bonus Sarmad's 5.03 with manual focus

My great appreciacion to all you Gurus!

and these two in terrible light conditions with EM...

and this in total darkness with ENM + LED..

Hi BLKSNAKER!

Really nice pics, I already downloaded your driver, will give it a try, I'm interested how it will do on my w810.

I also have an idea ... what do you think, if in ENM mode to use EV +/- not as Exposure compensation but as shutter speed correction, will it be reflecting on preview screen as brighter-darker? Because with ENM the problem is that pictures are bright but sensitive to camera shaking ...
And on the opposit with normal Night mode to use EV +/- as ISO corrector? Because again often not the brightnes of the picture is the problem but grains associated with high ISO.
I wonder if these things are possible to implement???

Don't be that upset, with w810 it's just a transparent lens cover

Posted by volgovt
Sarmadgilani, by the way, what about autofocus in close range with your 5.03, does it inherit problems form Kriomags drivers?

Also, do you have any tips how to shot moving objects (like sports)

not sure about the focusing problem, mostly because i always get blurry shots with any driver, lol my phone must have problems.
for sports etc i would set to infinity manual focus, that would probably be best since there would be no time wasted in focusing and with proper lighting youd have a high shutter speed

In the DayTime this is the best driver, has superb vivid colors and sharp image but in the total dark the 27.1 drivers are a bit better anyway great work

i've tried this on my w810 and I find no problem with AF at close range. (see my posted pics a few pages back, normal mode, Macro ON). Pictures look great. at least for me.

Yeah, I just took some test shots and autofocus seems to work just fine. I really think 5.03 is a great driver especially for the W810. Good vivid colors, and sharp pictures.

Im trying also 5.03 and for now it seems OK. but what could 21.8 reserve for us?
let us wait for it. but congrats about 5.03!!!

BLKSNaker, I really like the direction you've taken with this driver. Excellent choice of option placement and control. I haven't tested it yet, but I like the UI ideas you've gone with. This should be a very easy to use and productive driver, thanks!

@BLKSNAKER;

Please take a look at your camdriver v9.21...the color correction is not work check it...

i think it would be a good idea that everybody should mention his/her type of phone and firmware eventually. especially you moders. At least when posting pics. It would be much easier to tell the differences.

Hey guys, what do you think about the following ideas?

1.Using EV +/- in ENM mode not as Exposure compensation but as shutter manual speed correction.
Because with ENM the problem is that pictures are bright but sensitive to camera shaking ...

2. And on the opposite with normal Night mode using EV +/- as ISO manual correction?
Because again often not the brightnes of the picture is the problem but grains associated with high ISO.

I wonder if these things are possible to implement at all???

just attach it in the signature or something...

Hi

What all Super Cam features are there in 5.03 when compared to 21.7?

kriomag's v21.7 with en and cc

BLKSNAKER's v9.21 with en and cc

kriomag's v21.7 is more bright but a little pink.
Blksnaker's v9.21 is more real and sharper!

BLKSNAKER's camdriver v9.21 never set register 8...so his color correction is never work...I think there are still a difference between normal mode and fine mode...even you set the same code....IMO CMIIW

@Kriomag.
If you mean that is firmwire code mistake - then we can do nothing.
But i'm using your 21.5 with your proposed correction - seems autofocus in EM is now better.
And just 2 cents. For fast street shooting i use 1.1 zoom. Its OK results. So maybe you can do also 2 or 3 fixed focus pozition. May be 1.2 - PORTRAIT for distance 0.6-1m, 1.3 - GROUP PORTRAIT - for distance 1-2m. It will be as presets in digital cams. And for more then 2m we can use infinity (1.1) without quality lost...

the 2nd one is sharper (but not sharp).
@679 about the fixed focus.. focus to infinity is from 1,2-1,3m and ++ so we don't need fixed focus (for closer than 1m just use macro)

i did and driver is almost ready to release but... at last second tests i've got phone crashes when changing modes (VR to photo, photo to VR) so it may take little longer... i dont know what is causing crashes :/ maybe register 8 is reserved for some other function? :/ im working on it (im siting on it from early morning and getting crazy after so many hours...). the funniest thing is that all was ok and then suddenly phone crashes :/ (i didnt changed enything ...)

@Kriomag...

I think the fact is that 21.8 is testing the phone’s limitation. Now there are plenty of drivers to choose from and now we have to stop going for new versions but fine tune the best till date.

This is just an opinion. Like every one me too want the best out of these drivers.

Good luck all moders.

Sorry, but Focus to Infinity is listed as Zoom 1.1 in all the drivers I've seen. However, Zoom 1.2 - 4.0 is Manual Focus.

I have a little problem with this.The value adjust the normal mode and EM EV not only EM.

it effect the ISO as well, now i change it into:
seq_set_prop_0=$s0 %0 $-0 0a 06 02 00 01 $w0 06 #CMD_END;
it reduce the ISO level, this setting is better for my phone(still a little overexposure)

i'v test 3 level, same picture:
08 ->ISO 1000 full of noise
09 -> ISO 800
0a ->ISO 640
