the driver have normal autofocus in zoom 1.0 but the problem of you is not the fast autofocus, it's the next lines...

open the camdriver0.dat with a notepad ang go to find this:
seq_set_prop_7_0=06 02 00 01 28 03 #CMD_END
05 02 00 08 3C #CMD_END
06 02 00 01 81 34 #CMD_END
#WAIT_FOR_MODE_TRANSITION;
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
and replaced with this:
seq_set_prop_7_0=06 02 00 01 28 03 #CMD_END
05 02 00 08 3C #CMD_END
06 02 00 01 81 34 #CMD_END
#WAIT_FOR_MODE_TRANSITION;

in 21.8 i replaced entire:

"seq_set_prop_7_0=...;"

and

"seq_set_prop_7_1=...;"

with default code (from 5.3 or 4.5). Now autofocus works great tomorrow i think i'll finish 21.8 and post link here

@Kriomag...
heh!!! i have right? the replaced "seq_set_prop_7_0" is from the original... that i tell @679

This is my fixed autofocus version of 5.53 camdriver without CC and EN. I hope so the last one!!

1. Normal Focus at normal light conditions
2. Very sharp images at day and night with ENM
3. 87% compression at fine mod and 75% compression at normal mod
4. 15fps video recording at day light an normal conditions and ~8fps with nightmod on
5. ENHANCE NIGHT MODE when you "turn ON the Nightmode and Macro ON" Led Supported
6. Manual Focus (Macro ON: 1.0 Autofocus, 1.1 Focus to Infinity, Manual Focus Range 1.2-4.0 with Zoom preview)
7. Advanced Zoom

http://www.rogepost.com/n/4633858895

How to use the Manual Focus:

When in range 1.1-4.0 (+/-) click half-shutter for preview with zoom (you can ON/OFF zoom preview clicking half-shutter) - now (when zoom is on) you can adjust focus very precisely (+/-), when picture is most sharp half press (and hold) shutter (the zoom will go off) and when you are ready press shutter to take picture.

Hi kopritis,

I like your drivers. However, I'm a bit confused by the Manual Focus. Would you explain how iot works, please?

Thanks

i'm not satisfied with the EM... sometimes we need the focusTOinfinity function, but because of macro, EM is on, and that's "bad" sometimes (i mean if you use the focus to infinity, you use it for a reason, and that reason is: you wanna get FAST shots). You could change EM from macro key, to nightmode key (if EM is better then nightmode).

LOL?
read my post above... hehe

LOLz! I didn't see it. cuz we wrote the messages at the same time (only it took me a bit longet to write it)

About that 21.8 driver... i don't think you should change the 21.7 driver (only the EM thingy). We don't need zoom with ENM. It is good the way it is, cuz thisway we can set the focus to infinity with ENM thus enableing us to take faster pictures (no need to wait for macro focus). The only problem was the EM with macro on :/
You should put the EM to NORMAL picture quality settings, and noEM to FINE (cuz with NORMAL mode as default, we see that we can take more pictures than with FINE) because we use noEM as default.
Don't know if u understand what i mean, but... Lust leave the 21.7 the way it is, and put EM to NORMAL, and leave ENM the way it is
THX

ok now for another one of my dim questions. lol .

right i know how to set the manual zoom what im unsure about is what its supposed to do... because when i lose the zoom preview after sharp focus and press the shutter the picture is not zoomed.

what am i not understanding? or maybe im asking is how is it used ..

Today i changed the driver to your 5.35 without CC because i just stupid enough to confused CC with EM. So i changed my driver again to jonaugust_69's kriomag's 2.17 mod without EM which in fact, without ENM (which i need it) too.

Well, may be i just use kriomag's driver too much, your key combination is difference so i thought it doesn't work. A little usage guide should be great later time

I think always using LED for ENM has some flaw. As you can see in your picture, LED is reflect on the object which some times it doesn't look good (and consume battery ). Why don't you use the same key combination as kriomag ? Any advantage always using LED for ENM ?

Hi Guys...

Did any one tested Sarmad's 5.1 for W810 - Kriomag 21.7 for CID49 W810 based on 4.5.

Yesterday I tested it on all possible night shots. Quality and sharpness is ok... But after focusing shot making is time consuming... by the time small shake on phone is affecting the quality.

For me Macro On- Auto – Normal (w/o CC) - Night Mode was the best shot...

But with Macro Off - Auto - the picture has huge amount of noise especially without Night Node...

I hope Day light shots would be astonishing just like 21.4 with out CC

To conclude, I had tested all drivers since 21.4 (4.8). To me 21.4 (4.8) is still a benchmark. All future drivers should evolve from that platform. 21.4 (4.8) resembles a Mini Digital Camera…

Thanks to all…

I agree, 21.4 has had the best sharpness thus far.. lets see what Kriomag has in store with 21.8.

Macro problem...

only solution i can come with is to limit manual mode autofocus to macro range only :/ if i set any other range (fast/full/etc) autofocus gets crazy and cant focus at objects 50-150 cm :/ damn...

Maybe it's a hardware limitation? SOL

What about the Sharpness? Will it matcd 4.8(21.4)?

What about the Sharpness? Will it matcd 4.8(21.4)?

i skipped 4.8 so wasn't able to test that. i came from 4.9 lite, then to 5.01 lite before moving on to 5.03. all drivers gave same results thus far. i only made an upgrade to 5.03 to test and, although i just like the basic point and shoot camera type most of the time, maybe use its other great features, (EM, CC, etc.). so far, so good...

I got the same result.
i took a pic with macro on(no NM), it took 1/2 sec to expose, that's why the pic looks noiseless.
i think the marco mode has some NM function with it.

this maybe a good idea.Macro with some NM functions(exposure time& ISO) and no preview delay(no NM's preview function). the quality beat the NM I think.

AE Lock is "Auto Exposure Lock".. you've probably noticed that if you point the camera into a place with lots of light, the picture becomes dimmer to compensate. (etc with sunlight in the background or something).. with AE Lock you can prevent this from happening. just find a good brightness for the host you want, and press the shutter halfway.. when its locked in with the green box, then move around and you'll see that the brightness won't change.. then just press the shutter all the way to take your shot.

pictures tend to be sharp on center and blurry on edges, its common optical efect, minimizd only in professional cameras, so its ok for a phone camera to be like this!
