Weell Kriomag, It was quite suprise, but finally, v21.5 for CID49 looks like very stable. No problem, which I had before. I tested just a few mins, but great job!;)

Kriomag!

Both driver 21.4 and 21.5 in Enhanced mode take too bright shot in normal light room ... etc, but in daylight OK.
Like EV too high. Please correct it.

If change this 6 lines:

seq_set_prop_9= $p2 09
$c2 00
06 02 00 01 00 41 #CMD_END
$cl
06 02 00 01 01 41 #CMD_END
$cx;

with this:

seq_set_prop_9= $p2 09
$c2 00
06 02 00 01 02 41 #CMD_END
$cl
06 02 00 01 03 41 #CMD_END
$cx;

then the autofocus will be faster i think.

faster yes but better? :/

@krimoag

wow...enhanced normal mode looks fantastic....

tell me something though..

when i am in autofocus mode...i am able to zoom in to the image and when i click i get the zoomed image..

when i am in manual focus mode....

i zoom in to get a far image and its blurred....then i put macro on and focus...however, when i click, i am back to the non zoomed size and then i have to do the same thing again and still the same thing happens...

i must be doing something wrong, but what??

can't wait to try the 21.5...

cheers

@ Djrudra

Manual focus is activated by turning on Macro.

With the zoom buttons you can focus the image. Since mobile phones have a small display it is hard to focus, so you do this. First you half press the shot button and you get a zoomed pic (8x I think). Now you can easy focus the image. Then you half press the shot button again and your image is zoomed out, but it is focused. And finally you press the shoot button full and image is taken...
I really don't know why so many people have problems with understanding. It's quite simple process...

It is doing wonders in my W810i with FS R4ED001

About 21.5 Kriomag.
As i've tested normal EM has shutter 1s and less. ENM (macro+NM) has shutter 5-10s and less (for EV=-2.0 its 1s). So be aware with moving object and(or) camera shaking.
But when light condition OK, the shutter is 1/30s in normal EM (ISO=100). So its great feature.

if i get it correctly, macro on and at 1.0 zoom, its at autofocus. but what about at 1.1-4? these are already at manual focus, right? is there any difference in focus if i choose macro+1.1 or 3.0 0r 1.9 or 2.2 zooms?

1.0 is auto focus, 1.1 equals focus to infinity and 4.0 is in reality macro (for objects a few cm from camera). From this you can see that the closer the object is to camera, you need higher "zoom level" to get a sharp pic. I usually use manual focus set to infinity for taking pics, because I am always at least a few meters from the object...

Actually, I really dont know if CC is worth using. my pics tend to get a little pink or something like that. but then again, without it they tend to green. just dont know what to do.

Same situation...When i'm looking at others phones pics here in this forum, they look good with normal color balance, but in most cases mine's are usually a lot of green or red, depend of mine WB profiles.

did you read instructions for super manual focus (when macro is ON) ? i dont think so...

When macro is on, normal zoom is disabled, only zoom is PREVIEW ZOOM for precise focus adjustment , you can ON/OFF zoom preview clicking half-shutter.
+/- is focus adjustment in this mode... if you want pictures with zoom turn macro off...

i think you focused with zoom preview on keyboard and then took picture? am i right? autoexposure was set at dark keyboard and then AE Lock blocked it when you took picture, thats why its too bright (you could click half-shutter for zoom preview OFF and when exposure is good hit shutter and take picture...) :/

Hi... Please tell me what all Features are there in Sarmad's 4.8 driver in compare to Kriomag's v21.4...

I might have misread the situation I was referring to :

= "with the latest Kopritis color correction. and guguly, burst mode works now"

maybe that was just referring to the previous driver and not kriomags 2.4 ??

sorry if i misread.

Kopritis, nice driver now and I would have one question. Would be able to just add (without changing your mods and their quality) manual focus with zoom like in Kriomags drivers (choose focus, press shutter and see how is it sharp)? You know, Kriomags one is perfect, but a little less sharp in EN mode and noisy without it for portrait at my phone. And your seems to be sharp in this situation. But zoom doesn't work on my cid49 phone with your camcoder, so you could add cid49support even so.
Anyway, great work Kopritis and Kriomag

hey, i noticed one thing: when my phone stucks in this kind of situation, i close the lid and turn it on again, see, must be something with light sensor and stuff...
obs: my w810 has k750 back part.

I just installed Kriomag's mod 21.5, and so far it works properly. I couldn't turn my camera on with Sarmad's 4.8 driver anyway.. ;/

Here's some pics I took today and yesterday in normal mode with my W810i. Which one do you guys prefer. I'm going to try Kriomag v21.5 & Sarmad 4.9 next. There is a huge difference in both pics when it comes to colour saturation.

Kriomag v21.4

Sarmad 4.8

This diference, my friend, is called Color Correction... in my opinion, when there is CC, pictures tend to get a little pink, dont you think?
but tell me one thing: what picture is closer to real collors?
thanks and test the new drivers.

Kriomag's v21.4 is more "real" to the true colours and also less noisy when I look at the pics in full resolution. Tomorrow I'll try his v21.5 and see if anything has changed.

I thought for sure Sarmad's was going to be the winner because it's based on the original 4.5 driver but I guess I was wrong.

Hold on mate! The main diference qhen these two are involved is the CC, so if you want to be absolutely sure, test Sarmad's without CC.

I agree with the pictures here and the ones I've tested that overall, the CC gives pinkish/reddish pictures.. but without it, you get yellowish pictures...

to me its a tough tradeoff, but I think I'm now going to leave it out until it can be tweaked more.. Kopritis, please keep tweaking it I'll try to play with it as well, or perhaps go back to Pilya, we'll see..

Sarmad's 4.9 with NO CC... = Kriomag's 21.5 based on 4.5
