p910i and the DSS-25 - Esato archive

I cannot get my computer to 'see' the DSS-25 for my P910i upon installation of PC Suite 3.1.1. The program loads ok, but when the system is rebooted the Sync Station is not seen. The program is loaded and installed to the PC whilst all firewalls and anti virus programs are disengaged and the DSS-25 drivers are 'seen' and operating.. Sony Ericsson are trying to help but it is difficult as I arrived home from the 'salt mines' long after they have closed down, hence no real time help.
Help from this forum might be the answer
