hi guys,
im trying to debrand my 3 version w850i.....I tried it last night and it started, but went extrememly slow, eventually it finished....but nothing happened........
I now know this is a driver problem, as when i tried it last night, i didnt install the drivers properly, i just downloaded them and extraced the files.
Today, ive been on the wotan site using the guide to install the drivers, but it wont work, ive tried back and front usb ports, but nothing! I follow all the steps on wotan's site: http://www.wotanserver.com/index.php?show=install&lang=gb
but when i get to the last steps (step eight), where it says to click 'continue any way' i do that, it starts installing, but then stops and it says windows wizard cannot install this hardware: it says: " an error occured during the installation of this device, the system cannot find the specified file".....
Is davinci the same as wotan where you need to install drivers to phone in order to flash? If it is different, and i dont need to install because i am having problems on wotan, id be willing to swap my credit for a davinci credit.....
please, can any one help me?
