If I got to drive one of these on duty, I'd join the Met Police in a sec!
While the Italian police received a souped-up Gallardo pursuit vehicle from Lamborghini, this English model is just for show,It will be displayed at the MPH '06 car show in Birmingham from this week. www.mphshow.co.uk

Yeah, in Italy they have to stock with sport scars, as normal cruisers just don't have the power to chase all those ferraris and labos that go criminal.

Nice police car .. . .. now I'll wait to see it in action . . . when it is in HOT PURSUIT with a - Ferrari F1 Car !
Posted by chrisfirst
How about this one in Chile then?
Posted by faultymonkey
that YEVIL number plate is the same as the one they used on top gear, so maybe its just been repainted (or, dare I say it, photoshopped)
Posted by axxxr
They can't display a photoshopped Lamborghini Police car at the show now can they!
Here a couple more examples!
Posted by indian
The car is Lamborghini's press car the numberplate YEVIL is owned by Lamborghini London and is used for their display cars and for publicity events.

Dug up an old thread,
Brabus Rocket used by the German Polizei:
I think it's only used at shows and stuff, not sure whether it's a pursuit vehicle or not.

From wikipedia:
"The Lotus Esprit was a sports car built by Lotus in the United Kingdom from 1976 to 2004."

And our new pollice cars are station wagon Corollas.

My number plate had incorrect spacing on the letters and I had to change the plates for correct spacing else I got a fine! YEV1L should be YEV 1 L... Try PC D1M, as seen on a Skoda 105 in Steyning UK.

they must be the amount of cash they screw us out of....pricks
Near me they have this unmarked white 3.2 litre Turbo Vectra.....I know about 3 ppl who've been tricked by it...the little bastard pretends to race you on dual carriageways then pulls you over :@.......sneaky buggers. Thing to watch out for though is the uniform, as a traffic cop in an unmarked car MUST have the uniform on for it to be a legal arrest
