Hi machanic,

If you are using mp3's re-encode them to mp4's and normalize the sound, this will give you more volume (plus save loads of space)

Use the manual equalizer

can i have the exact settings of ur equalizer?

Thanks for that. The encoding made it alot louder but it lost some sound and it sounded a bit jerky

Hi machanic,

Try encoding at a higher bitrate say 48Kbps are you using HEv2 or LC? if HEv2 then 48Kbps should be more than enough,

Your converted files shouldn't be jerky as there is more than enough mobile cpu power for HEv2 what is your source media mp3's wav CD's?

when you say jerky if you have raised your Equalizer settings too high you might be getting clipping, is that what you are hearing?

Try these settings,
the goal here is to try and make the shape of a smile

the left side is the base frequencies through to treble on the right

It's surprising how many people just leave on normal settings not knowing what they are missing
PS: Stereo widening does not sound good on earphones!
